ShadowFan
Not long now Here's a question, there's usually a major upset in this tournie ( I think of France and Italy in 2010) . So which major team will it be this time?
Nagflar
This topic is dead not a lot of Football fans around here. Not that much to say about it right now. There's still a few months to go, and no mayor player's been injured, or anything else that might be worth mentioning.

Falcao is injured, that pretty much ruins Colombia's chances to get anywhere in their group
Nagflar
Falcao is injured, that pretty much ruins Colombia's chances to get anywhere in their group There's more to Colombia than just Falcao, just like there's more to Ivory Coast than Drogba. To think otherwise is a bit ignorant. They have a decent team as a whole, and Jackson Martinez, while not as great as Falcao, is a very solid striker and would make a great sustitute if Falcao can't get healthy in time. STRANGEgenius
. Will they not show it on local tv Aussie side? I don't think they will be showing every match. SBS MIGHT, they didn't with the Euro Cup. And i don't have cable, and never will. Edited March 25, 2014 by STRANGEgenius

Yeah thats true there is more to Colombia than Falcao but he is one of the best no 9's in the world and just like Ibrahimovic for Sweden or Ronaldo for Portugal. If they dont play in their team their chances of winning are a lot less. I have seen a few matches of Martinez, and although he is a decent player with pace he's nowhere near Falcao's quality. Yeah, he's no Falcao, but he's still a very decent and trust-worthy striker. Colombia isn't as Falcao-dependant as many make it out to be (same with Sweden/Zlatan, Portugal/Ronaldo or Argentina/Messi), and there's only so much a striker can do for a team, especially a pure 9 that's mostly in charge of getting the ball inside the net. Falcao isn't the play-maker and he's not the brains behind the team, so even though his absence would make a big difference, it wouldn't be a deal-breaker for them. BhekifaZ
GO CZECH....oh wait, I forgot that they're awful and can't qualify for anything other than the Euro. At least I have my memories of the 2012 Euro where they made it to the quarters and everybody hated Selassie because he's black. l-S0ULx3ATER-l
I was watching the world cup yesterday, sadly Italy lost but its ok they still have a chance. I just remember when France and Switzerland were versing, and one of the french players hit a Switzerland player in the eye with his cleat, and the Switz player was bleeding really bad. Hope he is ok, poor guy.
diocarro
As a Portuguese person, I have to say... WHO THE HELL IS PICKING THE REFEREES?! they are blind!!! Portugal could have beat USA 3-1 if he had seen what was going on in the game. Same thing happened in the game with Germany but we would have lost that one anyway...
