Respec question

How do i get additional respecs? I thought it was an infinite thing but akara isn't letting me respec on my hardcore character. Is it 1 per difficulty or something if so i suppose i wasted my normal playthrough respec.

Can only do it once per difficulty. Once you get to Hell difficulty, you can (with a fair bit of work) create an item that lets you respec additional times.

Guess i'm stuck playing a weird ass paladin build until i get to nightmare then i suppose, thanks for the answer.

Yeah I did the same thing lol once you do the den of evil on nm, you'll get the next respec

Once you complete the den of evil quest in act1 she allows you to do a respec one time per difficulty

once you get to hell and beat the different act bosses they sometimes drop essences, collect 4 different essences and cube them, and you can respec again this way aswell and theres no limit to how many times you can respec from essences, youll just need to collect more
