how to play the ps5 version?

i like to get the trophies to the ps5 version of this game, having already got it for ps4.

i cant seem to find a ps5 disc version of this game anywhere, only ps4.

if i insert the ps4 disc in the ps5, and play from that, will it unlock ps5 trophies as i play?

i havent got the ps4 disc anymore as sold it off a long time ago, but might repurchase if this is the only way to get the ps5 trophies..

 

similarly for resident evil 2 too?

There is no PS5 disc version of this game/trilogy. You also don't get the PS5 versions as an upgrade from the PS4 disc.

 

The only way to get the PS5 versions is to buy them digitally (you get both the PS4 and PS5 digital versions that way).

 

I can't answer the Resident Evil 2 question though.

Resident Evil 2 is a free upgrade from ps4 to ps5, the trophies auto pop when it is loaded up.
