Mazs Castle Bug

Hey guys ?

 

So I have encountered a bug while doing cleanups of the planets. Once entering Mazs castle the game for some reason thinks your back doing the campaign but during free roam instead. You are able to go down to the basement and retrieve Luke's lightsaber during free play. Now since the game thinks your back in the campaign it locks you to Rey and bb8 from episode 7 and you can no longer change even if you delete the game and reinstall or even play on patch 1.0. So I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them and they managed to find a workaround or am I stuck until they patch it?

I have the same problem.  Failed to resolve.

Well patch 1 was broken, it spawned you out of bounds when doing ship missions, and this patch seems to have broken something else. 

This game like all Lego games, is a buggy pile of shit. A fun buggy pile of shit, but a buggy pile of shit none the less. Took me 173 hours to platinum this due to those reasons.

Hi so I managed to finally get past this issue. What I done was delete the install and disconnect the internet and play on patch 1.0. Next I went into the building and played like I was during the campaign so I got Luke's lightsaber and evacuated the building next I went outside and killed the troopers that arrived on the ship and finished the quest then I was able to change characters again. I also collected everything on that planet just in case it happened again then I updated the game afterwards hopefully this helps you

I just had this same bug so it can still happen on the latest patch, good thing I had my cloud save.
