Finally Patched

Neon white got patched today to fix the save disappearing issue, great news at face value.

They lied saves being wiped still happened to me today.

Yup just spent about 5-6 hours catching up to where I was before my data was wiped and boom just lost it all again massively upset and annoyed by this. Shame too I really am enjoying this game  

 

edit: guess it’s still a issue that won’t be fixed anytime soon

Finally Patched v2

This means we’ve fixed the save data wipe issue on PS4/PS5. Unfortunately, progress previously lost due to the save issue is not recoverable.

 

Additionally, your save file may already be affected by the issue before the patch: symptoms include ghosts acting odd, gifts not collecting. If so, you will only have the option to start a new game post-patch. Sincere apologies to anyone affected.

My save has been fine since the latest patch. I made sure to delete any old saves before booting it back up
