Nubla 2: community support needed

I am humbly asking for your support.

 

The current store version of Nubla 2 game for PS4 is critically bugged: there is an NPC spawn issue which makes the game impossible to complete. You can read more about this in the comments section of the walkthrough video from Brian (PS[X]Trophies channel):

There is a section of the Chapter where you need to go through a hallway. The game spawns 2 NPCs in the middle of that hallway (and not inside the room), rendering the hallway impassable. The player cannot advance the story and cannot complete the game because of this. There is no workaround.

 

Today 26 Feb 2023 I encountered this bug myself on PS4 version of Nubla 2 game and confirm that it still exists.

 

More importantly, this bug evidently did not exist 4 years ago when the walkthrough was recorded, but it has been around since at least last 9 month (according to the comments in the video). The game version is still 1.00. I do not understand how this is possible, but what is infuriating is that the developer doesn't respond to bug reports.

 

So, to put this in perspective, these sh%#t crooks put the game (very average game at best, made by students as a graduation project) on the market for $5 which in current state is completely unusable as a product, and don't even bother to fix it. We deserve better. I ask for 5 minutes of your time to please contact the developers about this issue via their social networks and email:

I am also reporting this to Sony, but I do not know if they are going to take action. Sorry if this is wrong forum.

The PS5 versions of Nubla 1 & 2 don't sync either but even after emailing them every other week since last December, I've heard absolutely nothing from anyone at either the devs or the publisher (which are 2 different companies BTW).

It's a waste of time contacting Sony, because they won't do anything since they didn't develop or publish the game so will just bounce any emails and tell you to contact the devs or publishers.

Update.

The EU version has patches. Try buying that and downgrading to an earlier version to see if that works.

AFAIK, the EU release works just fine, it's only the NA version that's knackered ?.

It appears NA version is now fixed with the patch you noticed that was released. In the next day or so I'll complete and confirm platinum is obtainable.

The game has been fixed.

I got the platinum trophy. the new update fixed the game.
