Just Starting out! Any tips??

This game looked interesting to me. I'm about to start playing. Any tips or advice? This is not really my type of game so I don't know what to expect. I do want to go for the platinum though. So just wondering where I should start? Normal mode or Very hard mode?? Any other advise would be helpful. Thanks!

If its not your type of game, play on normal difficulty. Such turn based games tend to be on the harder side. 

 

As for tipps: Scavenge everything, kill everything. You need resources for for better weapons and EXP for skills. 

Then, use the time you have to plan every move. Every character can usually move once and do a skill or attack. So make sure that everyone of your guys gets a shot in with the highest chance of success. 

Concentrate your fire, and learn skills of your enemies. 

Also, always use cover. High ground is your friend. 

Its better to make sure to kill one enemy than spread the DMG out. One dead enemy is one who cannot attack you anymore.
