Player count and boosting

Im thinking of starting this game but I hear it’s hard to find matches when it’s not the weekends and that’s no longer possible to boost. Anyone that plays this mainly can confirm if you find matches and if its still possible to boost and how? How hard is it to do legit?

I've been able to get 39 trophies legit without boosting thus far,so its definitely doable.

For those who are wondering I can confirm you can no longer boost in private/practice matches. The only way to do it now is queueing at same time but that seems unreliable. Regards to player count the game is not dead at all. I always find matches in less than 2 min, if it’s longer than that cancel and queue again and you should find a match quickly. And with more DLC confirmed there’s plenty of time to get the plat. In terms of difficulty it’s not that hard. If you’re struggling with a specific trophy like the 2 downs with área destruction you can always message your survivors in your game asking for help ( let them win afterwards) .

I have been playing for the last week and always find a match within a minute or two.

Is there anything I can do on my end? I wait about 5 to 10 minutes at a time and I won't even get a single player.
