Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Photo Mode Showcase - Horizon Forbidden West Are you looking for an excuse to show off some of the best pictures you've taken in Horizon Forbidden West? Maybe you just nailed that one-in-a-million shot... or maybe you haven't even opened photo mode yet because your eyes are still melting from all the next-gen goodness! Either way, this is the thread for you! Here's what you've gotta do! Select up to five screenshots you've taken in Horizon Forbidden West or the upcoming Burning Shores DLC and post them here (captions are optional but encouraged)! If you'd like to post more than five, I'd encourage you to either create an album on external sites like Imgur and link the album alongside your five favorite photos OR wait 3-4 days before you post another set. This five screenshot limit may seem arbitrary (and it is), but my goal here is to promote quality over quantity. If this limit isn't popular, I'm happy to change or remove it altogether! Photos posted by the community *may contain spoilers*, so please proceed at your own risk! Before you post, you may wish to use the spoiler tag to hide specific photos from new players, but it's not the end of the world if you choose not to. Whether you post your photos directly or share them through secondary apps like Twitter, any and all methods of photo-sharing are welcome! If you find screenshots elsewhere and wish to post those instead of your own, that's fine too, but please give credit to the original artist in your post. How do I post my photos? I'm glad you asked! I'm going to quickly run you through a step-by-step guide in getting your photos from your PS5 to this page. 0. [Optional] Grab a USB drive and plug it into your PS5. 1. On your PS5, go to your Media Gallery (Settings > Storage > Media Gallery). 2. Go to the "Albums" tab (push right on the analog stick three times). 3. Select "Horizon Forbidden West." 4. Click the button on the left side of the screen that says "Select Multiple." 5. Select all the photos you'd like to share and press either "Share" or "..."From here the paths branch a bit! 6A. If you select "Share" you can upload your photos directly to Twitter. From Twitter, you can embed any tweets containing your photos in a post on this thread and you'll be good to go! 6B. If you select "..." you can copy your photos to a USB drive. Once the photos are copied to your USB, plug your USB into your computer and transfer over the photos. 6C. If you select "..." you can upload your photos to the PlayStation App if you've linked your PS5 to the app. Through the app, download your photos to your camera roll. 7B&C. Once you've transferred your photos to your phone or computer, go to imgbb.com (or other trusted alternatives that use BBCode) and upload your photos. 8B&C. Once your photos are uploaded, all you have to do is copy the photos from their respective pages and paste them directly into your PSNP post! If you have any trouble, don't be afraid to ask for help! Feel free to message me if you get stuck and I'd be glad to help you get things sorted out. There are other ways to get photos from your PS5 to PSNP, so don't be afraid to explore other alternatives if you run into any issues! What if my photos don't look very good? Nonsense! We're trophy hunters, not professional photographers! The goal here is just to have fun and share some cool pictures with the community. Nothing needs to look perfect! If anyone bullies you over your photos, I'll bully them back... and so will everyone else. What kinds of photos should I post? All kinds! Environmental shots, character poses, epic battles, abstract art! You're the photographer here and there's no limit to what you choose to capture with your lens. Here are a few shots from me to hopefully give you some inspiration! Something artsy! Something epic! Something fight-y!A ladder! A few tips for the Perfect Photo! Getting the most out of photo mode takes a lot of practice. I have a lot to learn myself, but here are a few tips I've learned on my journey that might help you out! 1. If you want to zoom in real close to get detail like this or this, you're going to have to change the focal length! If you try to zoom in too close without changing the focal length, you'll get blurry pictures which is probably not what you're looking for. 2. Lighting can make or break a photo! I often change the time of day to make sure the sun (or the moon) is in the perfect place for the perfect shot! You can also add a little overexposure to brighten up dark areas a bit. The ladder shot you see above actually had tons of overexposure added to it to make the room look more visible and vibrant in the dark tunnel it's located in. 3. Don't be afraid to pose! Changing body poses or facial expressions can dramatically affect the mood of a photo, so take the time to look through them! 4. Experiment! Some of the greatest photos ever taken were products of experimentation. If you see a weird option in photo mode (I still have no idea what "Aperture" affects, for example), try it out! You'll get the most out of photo mode by poking around and figuring out what each option can do for your photos. Now get out there and show me what you've got! AestheticElement
This is a fun idea. Your photos are great! I'll kick it off with a few relaxing environmental shots. Obvious location spoilers ahead. It's such an unbelievably good looking game. You can lose yourself for hours in Photo Mode just admiring the many beautiful views. Next up i'll post some action shots, fighting machines! And after that I might have some Burning Shores pics left ? ZZ383
First is a hunting trophy style photo. Aloy hit three headshots and was real proud of herself. The second is a Burning Shores postcard. Just the absurd juxtaposition of the caption and the Horus.
