Popular Post Copanele
For those who attempted this game, you may notice that some trophies do not pop even if you fulfilled the requirements in the trophy description. After experimenting with the trophies a bit, the main issue is that the descriptions are misleading. The trophies are not glitched, you only need to do some extra requirements that are not mentioned. I achieved all the trophies in coop mode, having the second controller idle in a corner and only moving it out of harm's way/using the second controller's ball as an extra life. World 2 is the easiest to achieve most of the trophies: Power-up Zen Master Trophy description: No power-ups collected for 10 levels in a row. This can carry over between planets. Actual requirement: No power-ups collected for 10 levels in a row. This can carry over between planets. NO RESTART ALLOWED, IT MUST BE DONE IN ONE SESSION. Just to be extra safe, attempt this trophy on one world only (World 2 is the easiest). I discovered that restarting a level voids the trophy completely. It can be done on Kids difficulty, so the actual challenge is avoiding the power-ups. Not sure if losing a life voids the trophy. LONGEVITY Trophy description: 8 levels in a row played on the same planet without dying once. Cannot be earned on Easy or Kids difficulty settings. Actual requirement: Beat 8 levels in a row on the same planet without dying OR RESTARTING THE LEVEL once. It can be done on Normal difficulty. If you lose one life, you have to start all over again. Just like above, restarting the level completely voids the trophy progress. AMAZING BREATH OF LIFE Trophy description: 30 levels in a row played without dying once. This carries over from one Planet to the next. Cannot be earned on Easy or Kids difficulty settings. Actual requirement: 30 levels in a row played without dying once, RESTARTING THE LEVEL IS ALLOWED. This carries over from one Planet to the next. It can be done on Normal difficulty, if your player1 loses the ball, simply restart the level, you will not be penalized. STRAIGHT JACKET Trophy description: Beat 10 different levels on the Insane difficulty setting in a single game on the same planet. Actual requirement: Beat 10 different levels on the Insane difficulty setting in a single game on the same planet WITHOUT LOSING A LIFE. RESTARTING THE LEVEL IS ALLOWED. Probably the most difficult trophy in the game because you have to play with a small ball instead of a regular one. The second controller is invaluable here. CO-OP CUP Trophy description: Awarded for completing all level sets in Cooperative mode. Actual requirement: Awarded for completing all level sets in Cooperative mode IN A SINGLE SESSION. The most infuriating trophy in the list, you have to do all 150 levels in one go, no Game Over screens or Quit to Main Menu allowed. It can be done on Kids difficulty, unknown if restarting will void the trophy restarting will NOT void the trophy (thanks @KenjiCBZfor the info) These are the methods that worked for me in achieving the trophies. The rest of the trophies unlocked according to their description. I hope this will help anyone who will attempt this old PS3 game if anyone has other strategies/methods of unlocking that I have missed, please let me know! KenjiCBZ
Thank you, didn't even know this game existed, before this post and the other in the Ultra Rare thread. Is it possible to 100% the game with just one controller/one player?

That's what I'm asking. I have multiple controllers, so if I can use both alone it's not an issue.

Ahh, ok, yes yes you can use both controllers alone ,that's how I did it also, no second person required. I put the second controller in a corner and just played with my first controller, eventually moving the second controller away whenever a nasty powerup or a bomb was coming towards its way.
pkopetzky
Thanks for having the patience to QA these trophies. Might complete this game now after 12 years of wondering what the hell is going on.
KenjiCBZ
I can confirm that restarting a level does NOT void the Co-op Cup Trophy
