Parker
Well, I've decided it's about time to get a new PC. The one I have now is extremely outdated and with Battlefield 3, as well as a few PC sims coming out I think it's time to shell out the cash for a new one. Basically, I want a PC that will run the new games coming out (BF3, Skyrim) at high quality for around $800-$1,000. Let me know what you all can do. Thanks, Parker
Parker
Would this be a decent PC? http://www.ibuypower.../2011_Paladin_E I would be getting a different case because I think that one is hideous, but as far as specs it seems to be pretty good for the price. I know very little about PC's though, so I'm looking for more knowledgeable people to chime in. Thanks, Parker
Elliot
Getting your standard, slightly-high-end Dell desktop or whatever and sticking in a bloody good graphics card has always worked very well for me. Your standard modern CPU can probably chew up most if not all new PC games, I'd reckon, though I have no hard evidence to back this up, just plenty of anecdotal evidence. Paladin_lv1
Did you take the leap and buy a PC yet? I see this string is somewhat old. Listen to Led Zeppelin much?
Parker
Nope haven't bought a PC yet, I decided to spend money on my truck instead. And yep, I listed to Zeppelin for at least a few hours a day. Can never get sick of them. Parker
