Warning Points Questions

I have few questions about warning points.

Why would I get a waning point?

Do warning points last forever? I mean no reset?

You acquire warning points for breaking the forum rules. Generally you'll receive a PM from a mod letting you know to change your behavior before we resort to a warning point. The rules can be found in the link below.

You can get 4 points against your account, when you get a 5th point you're banned permanently. The first two points are just verbal warnings, the third point is a 24 hour ban, the 4th is a week and the 5th is permanent. Warning points used to be permanent but now I believe they expire after 1 year, unless you've been banned. 

 

It is actually relatively difficult to get a warning point here compared to other sites. We will let people discuss and sometimes get in fairly heated arguments but when people start to bring personal insults into things, that is when the PMs and warning points start to be issued.
