Square Enix Confirms Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Coming To PS4

I've got the PS3 version of this game, so it should be interesting to see what it looks like on the PS4.

 

its a port of the ps3 remastered, it will look the exactly same as in ps3, so you are just paying money for the ps3 remastered; nothing improved, just like the ff7 ps3 port to ps4.

I'm not about to look up sales numbers/marketing budget for either of those two titles, but I would think the opposite. In my opinion, 8 was the worst FF of all time. I actually got infuriated while playing it because I was so upset. I don't get mad at anything! Luckily 9 followed it up. I got addicted to TetraMaster and pretended like 8 never existed.

 

I was contemplating picking this up for my Vita, but may delay it for my eventual PS4 collection.

 

To be honest, the whole series is at a weird state at the moment but on bases of popular main hero, Squall pretty much takes it. I think 8 had that effect of trying to be better than 7 and failing miserably.

It's not worth buying if you already played it on the PS3 or Vita. There will not be enough differences to warrant its price tag. If you haven't played it yet, then definitely get it. I had a blast with the PS3 one.

And FF7 again? Really? Surely I can't be the only one who's sick of hearing of FF7. Give me FF9, FF12, or a new FF altogether instead.

 

To be fair, FF7 was only re-released once on consoles as a PSone classic.

I agree with you on FF9 and 12, would love to get both games again on PS4. Maybe if FF7 sells well enough, Square will give the same treatment to 8 and 9.
