thegirlruka Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) Some apps like netflix and amazon instant video and pretty much all of the other video playing apps don't work with Remote Play so I would think that the PS4 media player wouldn't work with it. I haven't tested it yet, but I think it would be safe to say that it won't work. I'll update this in 5 minutes after I try myself. No dice. I put in a movie and it says Cannot display the current screen from the PS4TM system using Remote Play.To display the home screen of the PS4TM system, tap the PS button in the toolbar. Super-Fly Spider-Guy Posted June 29, 2015 Share Posted June 29, 2015 Not related to the PS4 but I'll put it out there for anyone to whom it may be of use, Remote Play on the PS3, so PSP or PS Vita, let's you watch TV through PlayTV, or watch any and all movie files on your PS3's hard drive.
