I just started my 5th Anime so still new to the world. Nope! When anime gets brought over to the states, it's translated into English. Heck, it's probably the 2nd biggest market for anime and manga! But manga is translated into several languages, but what makes it manga, is if it follows these criteria; It originated in Japan, is serialized into weekly/monthly chapters, and if it's a comic.
