Popular Post Superbuu3
Ok so I had this happen to me and wow is this a pain to fix. I thought it was best I just make a thread and list all the possible solutions. Google is useless. I'm not kidding I googled this and loads of people didn't have answers and no one reported back and what was working or not working. The half assed solution that solves everything (not recommended). You can just live with it and only view your vita trophies in playstation network mode, even if your data is corrupted this will solve your issues. This is worth doing regardless to try and get any of the last few trophies you didn't sync up on PSN as you will be losing everything in the last solution if nothing else is working. Now the real solutions. OK first up. Do you think you know what the offending game was? If you do you can delete and reinstall this game and this can potentially fix the issue (not in my experience) Remember to back up your saves in case you click the wrong option and decide to blame me. Vita Safe Mode: 1. Hold Power button, R button and the playstation button. 2. Rebuid database Some reports suggest this might work and by reports I mean people didn't seem to say anything after this was posted as a solution. It didn't work for me. I'd suggest turning off your vita and removing the memory card and doing the next steps. You can access a restore option from the vita setings menu (this actually didn't wipe my Vita card I was suprised to see still don't risk it, but I used both restore settings and they did nothing). The trophy issue was still there. My trophy list was still on the Vita to. Remember have a removed memory card and you can now boot up in safe mode again and use the restore option here. This wiped my vita and my trophy list on the vita, completely. I want you to know this as if you haven't been syncing your trophies you will be losing trophy data and this may make your profile look suspicious. My trophies are still on PSN, but nothing on my vita. Problem seems to be solved. I could then use my memroy card again without any issues after I activated my vita again (remember if you don't activate your vita again the system will not read your memory card at all (I literally just found that out). Anyway happy hunting EDIT: I don't usually say this but i'll make a point here, try to make a point of liking this post and similar helpful ones if you want people to make more posts like this, I was told recently that a few members thought posting something genuinely helpful would get less likes than something that was useless depending on the poster. As a trophy site we really should be the goto place for all trophy solutions like this one. I think this is a major error and almost no one had bothered to spread the word of how to fix this and I think we should be the first to solve these issues. I heard this can happen on the PS3 and PS4 so if anyone knows how to fix that. I think everyone would appreciate the post. Preferably someone who's fixed the issue first hand. EDIT 2: I have pretty bad grammar at times, if any of this is unclear can someone tell me what needs fixing? damon8r351
I don't know anything about this problem or pretend to understand it completely, but what I know is that trophy lists appear again on the Vita once you boot up the applicable game once. This is what I had to do to get trophy lists for old games back on my Vita after changing to a new one. So if I understand this right, your trophy lists disappear from your Vita after you wiped its memory due to a corruption error, but show up on PSN. Maybe booting up each of those games again will have them show up again in this case also? They'll show up in whatever order you boot the games up again, so if you want to have them show up in the order you completed them, that's the order you'll need to boot them up. Goekie
The whole like feature is trash, this is not a social media site The downside of liking posts is that it will divide parties and create a misplaced sense of hierarchy on this forum. people posting corny jokes like Damon is so fond of just to score a few likes or my personal favourite, people ganging up on one person and if that person start to rage a bit and gets called out on it everyone feels the need to like that post just to show their approval of publicly humiliati ng the less popular members/trolls Therefore I will not give the OP a like however I do appreciate Buu taking the time to help us fellow Vita gamers out and I did learn today how to start up my Vita in safe mode so thanks for that!

Yeah that seems to be how it works. So basically after bootin up the game you might technically re earn trophies, but as soon as you sync it should revert to teh original time stamps.. I think its similar to when you haven't played say the PS3 version of a game when its got a shared trophy list, but when you sync it, you'll get the Vita or PS4 time stamps. I get your point, but I think helpful posts should be liked either way. Either that or comment and tell people you appreciate the post. I'll always do my threads regardless as I know a handful of people appreciate my posts, but I have heard some people dishertened by the lack of likes on actually informative posts. Either way though you did say thanks so appreciated you voiced your opinion either way. Also encouraging new members is important, as people new to teh site posting helpful stuff may feel like no one read there post when its helpful (also it can point out exactly when a useless post has been posted without yelling at people). It just syncs your trophy list for that game and pulls it onto the Vita from PSN's database.Haha, I clearly type too slow on this phone. Thanks, Superbuu3, for the post. While I haven't run into this issue, it's good to know there are possible solutions for it. Edited September 2, 2015 by SolarCat02

It won't re-earn the trophies, it just pulls the time stamps saved on the server and puts them into the console. Syncing is a two-way process with three systems contributing to your online profile. Syncing is a two-way process with three systems contributing to your online profile. Maybe i said that weirdly. For example I played Velocity Ultra on PS3 I had platted it on PS Vita, but I leave my PS3 trophies in always offline mode. So when i played the game the trophies kept popping. Then when i synced. I had the plat and all time stamps were the PS Vita version if that makes sense.
