Always preferred Empire Earth, but yeah the AOE games were still hours and hours of fun. Yeah, I got the AoE3 Gold Edition when I first bought it then my brother bought The Asain Dynasties as he used my account for a while AOE II was probably my favourite of that series. Redigrex Posted July 24, 2012 Share Posted July 24, 2012 AoE3 is a great strategy game, buy I don't like it resource system so much, I prefer the old "Gold, Rock, Wood, Food". If you have enough of them, you can overpower any other unit(s). You can pown a full army and a castle with just few elite elephants.
