Turtlebeach Px22 headset for PS4

I just got a TurtleBeach Px22 gaming headset for my PS4 and looking at the box and directions, I couldn't exactly figure how to set it up for PS4, I know that they can be used for that system since it says so on the website and best buy ( where I got them from). Any advice? I have looked at the manual, it mentions nothing for PS4, so I am thinking I got the wrong type.

Have you looked at any YouTube videos? 

 

 

I believe you need an audio output on your television for this particular headset to work the way it is intended. You can hook it up to the DualShock 4 and still hear audio and chat too, if I'm not mistaken. Alternatively, you can use something like this.
