Popular Post 1973456
"Want to see my Kung-Fu? I'll Show You!" SEASON 2 NOTICE Instead of building a whole new thread I decided to make a document online. Note that some of the info presented in this thread is still very relevant! This document is mostly covering her new changes, ways to adapt your gameplan to the new balance patch and replays played on 2.000Ver and onwards until 3.0 drops (whenever that is). So click here to access it Quote Chun-Li (春麗 or チュンリー Chunrī, Simplified Chinese:春丽) is a character in the Street Fighter series. She is the first female player character that appears in the series, one of the series' major lead characters alongside Ryu and Ken and the first playable female character to appear in a 1-on-1 fighting game. Introduced in Street Fighter II, Chun-Li was the only female character in the game, as well as one of the youngest fighters, and while not as physically powerful as the other characters, she is by far the quickest. She is one of the most popular playable female characters in the series. Chun-Li @ SFWikia I've decided amidst the rocky launch to make something useful for the next generation of world warriors. The game is plagued with issues but Training mode and Versus works! And I've spent quite sometime with it with none other than the strongest woman in the world of Street Fighter! The main focus of this thread is to help newcomers and intermediate players that are considering using her by compiling notes and videos from all over the internet on her links, combo potential, character specific options, frame data, strategies, set-ups, etc. and give them a basic idea of how she works and be effective with her in future bouts. -Notes and other info Combo Notes I v1- Lightning Legs Combo Notes III v0.02 - Air-to-Air Options %5BWIP%5D Character Timeline by Capcom Move List Dantarion's BoxDoxV3 Chun-Li frame data (Note: Read the disclaimer on the accuracy of the frame data.) I really want to make a video or playlists focused on Chun's air-to-air game and Survival Runs. Edited January 4, 2017 by Ramonachan
danvcs24
Nice thread. I use to not like playing with chun-li in past street fighters. I really like her in street fighter 5 though. Not quite sure why the change of heart
DaivRules
I used to use Chun-Li in the arcade when SFII Championship Edition first came out. Yes, an *arcade*, with quarters. Lots and lots of quarters. Videos like this (which are amazing, seriously. Good job on those) are exactly why I never got any good at fighting games. I never wanted to plan so strategically my timing and moves and attacks and defenses. That just seems like so much work.

1973456
Nice thread. I use to not like playing with chun-li in past street fighters. I really like her in street fighter 5 though. Not quite sure why the change of heart Thanks! She's very fun in this game and easier to pick up than in SFIV since the change of her Hyakuretsukyaku input. Really hopes this helps you out in using her to an effective level. I used to use Chun-Li in the arcade when SFII Championship Edition first came out. Yes, an *arcade*, with quarters. I never wanted to plan so strategically my timing and moves and attacks and defenses. That just seems like so much work. Don't feel too bad, I never bother with frame data (which is an essential part of playing at higher levels) even though its included on here I haven't read shit. Yeah it shows that the community has really upped their game when it comes to instructionals and teaching the game. Awesome work Ramon, Karin next I was actually thinking Ryu or Vega next but I've gotten a lot of questions surrounding Karin so I think I'll end up studying her next.
