I've discovered that you just need to play the last round of every match on hard,not the entire level.Select a level on Easy and when you will be on the last round switch it to hard difficulty (I know,bad english) This will avoid a lot of frustration and it will save a lot of time

If you quit a match, you start back from Round 1. So I think (unless I'm missing something) the OP is referring to the last match (with all its related rounds) for each event, you can do the previous matches on Easy then quit and do the last one (and all its round until victory) on Hard.

I can confirm that this is indeed correct. I just finished this game and I played every match on easy and then I quit and changed the difficulty to hard for the  final match of each event. It's much easier this way and saves a lot of frustration. Hard difficulty isn't really that bad once you have a full team of legendary players and the EGO marker.
