Lady Lilith
A while ago, I heard something about getting to keep games with unlock keys (as in the games where you download a demo and a key) instead of losing access when Plus expires. I don't plan to let Plus expire, but once the PS4 comes out, I'm unsure what will happen to PS3 PS+ (I think it should still be there, right? The PSP's is). My question is...does anyone know if you get to keep the free games that you download with the unlock keys?
Kirbz
the unlock keys expire. even though this is sad, heres a thing that might cheer you up if you downloaded a ps+ game, and ps+ expired, when you re-buy ps+ after even a year, the games you downloaded with ps+ will re-appear. I was actually pretty shocked, since everyone said you lose everything when plus expires. so if you get ps+ again, the game will work

But the main thing that brought on this question is I keep reading about PS3 PS+ possibly going away once the PS4 has been out for a while. Is the PSP PS+ going away any time soon? I just recently took a bunch of my PS1 Classics and stuck them on my PSP, some free games included, and it'd suck if I couldn't play those. "NO GAMES!!!" (when they talk about ps3 lol) i agree on that, because i doubt ps3 will get a good variety of games on day 1...
d3m0nd00d
I would assume once the ps4 hits mainstream they will offer a plus for that, which being hooked to your psn account will allow you to get both the ps3 and the ps4 at the plus status. This is also assuming they will still give free shit to the ps3 once the ps4 takes over.
A12
Anything you got from + for Free, Will disappear/expire when your subscription expires. Only some games you get discounts on will be removed. But the main thing that brought on this question is I keep reading about PS3 PS+ possibly going away once the PS4 has been out for a while. You have Years to worry about this.

As far as I know if you payed for it it's yours, no matter what the discount was. To me it would be pretty shitty on Sonys part if they didn't let me have a game I payed for. Golwar
Plus won't go away, it will adapt. Best example is the addition of Vita content that will follow later this year, so Plus is definitely not bound to the PS3 only. Another hint that Plus is about to stay: Plus Live Cards that you buy are currently redeemable till somewhen in 2015. And yes, you keep whatever you pay for. Be it a discount that requires you to pay just 1 cent, it is yours and not "rented".

Golwar
theres ps+ cards? I havent seen this in canada, just $20 and $50 cards. Oh, seems as if this could be an Europe exclusive thing. http://www.amazon.de/PS3-Playstation-Plus-Live-Card/dp/B008GZSUM6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347443857&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.co.uk/PlayStation-Plus-Card-Year-Subscription/dp/B0095T9MGA/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1347444052&sr=8-2-fkmr2 The german cards are currently also 25% cheaper due the online promo and thus very popular right now. People are stocking them like crazy, because you can easily resell them once when the price is up again.
