Calbars1995
I was just wondering but how are hidden trophies usually originally discovered as to what they are? Like I know they show what they are when you get them, and then that's how they appear on guides, but do the guide authors just have to go around in the game doing random sometimes really obscure things in games to figure out the hidden ones or is there a way to force the game/psn to tell you what it is? Thrintus
Full trophy lists for games often drop online and on PSNProfiles pre-release. I remember having access to the Mirror's Edge: Catalyst and DOOM trophies a fair amount of time before it released.
Han_the_Dragon
This (and the other trophy tracking sites) get the trophy lists directly from the PSN server, so the hidden trophies are only hidden until the trophy tracking sites get the game trophy list, after that it's just a question of figuring out the requirements if the description is to vague, like what happens with any non-hidden trophy.. If the requirements are somewhat obscure and the description of the trophy isn't clear, then there's probably official forums, official guides, gamer communities dedicated to the game or the devs themselves posting the info somewhere as hints on what's needed to do for the trophies, but this also applies to non-hidden trophies with misleading descriptions.
Calbars1995
Thanks. Was curious. Would suck if people had to figure out by getting it and sharing what it says
Fatty_Fatness
I remember this was the case for The Last Guy... a game that (I think) pre-dated trophy-tracking websites. It took quite a while before anyone could figure out what was required for the last few trophies.
