Game breaking glitch possible in year two

When you have access to Hagrids garden in year two and need to cure Ron of the slug problem be very carefull.

 

When assembling the slat shaker if you are playing with two players make sure only ONE person makes the shaker and do it carefully in the right order.  It's possible to put it together in the wrong order and spawn a 4th piece that hangs unmoveable in the air and prevents you from completing this task.  No way to clear the issue once it's there so thats one gold brick you can't obtain.

 

Had to start a new game from 76% completion, heart-breaker.  Playing with the wife on her PS4 so my profile wasn't even being backed up to the cloud

Glad to see that the Lego games are staying true to form. Where's their appeal if their not bug-riddled, half-baked messes?

 

But in all seriousness, terribly sorry for your loss. At least it's Harry Potter? That's about the only reason I wouldn't give up on it all together.

That does suck. I've been very lucky with glitches so far. Worst one with lego was the movie vita one. Near the end it crashed end of every level. Very frustrating but posted on through.

 Other reference to it I've found is a 6 year old post on game FAQs, guess they ported this bugs and all.  Just make sure you put the small piece on last.
