There are a few things that I feel people need to know about me: I'm a musician from South Wales, I primarily play the drums, which I have played for over 16 years but I also play guitar, bass, harmonica, ocarina, flute, saxophone, violin, cello & piano. My favourite games are The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Banjo-Kazooie, Super Metroid & Doom. I've never or will I ever refer to myself as a "Trophy Hunter". I play video games primarily for entertainment and I will only seek out games I enjoy to collect trophies on. It just so happens that a lot of stuff I enjoy is very difficult to complete. I love challenging myself and trying to figure out what my limits are. A lot of the video games I play for trophies are considered to be very difficult. I'd like to leave a reference below of how I decide how difficult a game is: 1/5 - Easy &/Or Overrated Difficulty. 2/5 - Not too hard, Not too easy either. 3/5 - Very decent challenge, quite difficult. 4/5 - Extremely difficult. 5/5 - Among one of the hardest platinum trophies to obtain. More things to note: * I don't take save scumming into account when deciding difficulty * The list is ordered from hardest game to easiest * This is MY OPINION. You're likely going to see things that you won't agree with and that's ok. Difficulty is very subjective, this list is to just give people a faint idea what's considered hard and what isn't. As for tips on conquering your backlog, if you are ever indecisive on what you could always put a handful of games that you are thinking of playing into a "spin the wheel" type thing online and then have it randomly choose the next game you are going to play. That way it surprises you, and it might motivate you to start a particular game when you aren't trying to choose between 5 or 6 different games for an hour. Step by step, you'll conquer the backlog, and you might play some games you may have never thought of starting in the first place! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
