Popular Post taywahhhh
Welcome! I’ve seen others and it has inspired me to do my own, so here goes. I've been a trophy hunter since around October 2015, as my mate persuaded me to switch from PC gaming back to console gaming. I enjoyed my PC, but I did miss the joys of trophy hunting (had an Xbox 360 before my PC and loved getting achievements) and most of my mates either already had or were about to buy PS4's too so it was a no brainer, I haven't looked back since. I'm not the most talented of gamers, so most of these platinums will be fairly simple ones that most likely everyone will already have, but still, there might hopefully be the occasional one that I'll surprise myself by getting! I usually just play games with the sole purpose of getting the platinum, there will be others where I'm not too fussed about, the platinum is just a bonus if I get it (FIFA, NBA, etc). I'll also be trying to get my completion rate as high as possible too. This list will obviously include my earned platinums (with a few details about them), my 100%'ed games without platinums (there won't be a lot of these), DLC needed for 100%, what I'm currently playing/working towards, my backlog and my wantlist. I hope you enjoy reading through my 'journey' and please leave comments! Platinums Obtained #1 - #10 #1 - Watch_Dogs100% Clear'This is the platinum trophy and is unlocked automatically when all the trophies have been unlocked.'Date Achieved - 5 October 2015Trophy No. - 160Rarity - RareConsole - PS4Difficulty - 5/10Enjoyment - 8/10Hardest Trophy - Social Lubricant (Complete level 10 against all 3 Drinking Game opponents)Status - DLC to completeSummary My first step into the Trophy Hunting world. I really enjoyed the Watch_Dogs story, it was a different kind of game for me and I struggled to start off with but quickly got used to it and it ended up being a fairly easy Platinum, only main problems for me were Social Lubricant, that was difficult to complete and had to focus a lot, Disk Space Full as it took forever for me to find the last song I was needing to unlock and most of the online trophies which I was never expecting to get as I'm not very good at the game. Overall, I enjoyed the game, enjoyed getting the Platinum and I can't wait to play the next one. -------------#2 - The Order 1886The Grail'Collect all trophies'Date Achieved - 9 November 2015Trophy No. - 388Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 2/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - Inspector First Class (Find all inspect items)Status - 100% CompletedSummary I randomly got this game from my girlfriend's brother, he knew I had recently bought a PS4 so he gave me this and Thief to play after I had finished Watch_Dogs. I wasn't expecting this game to be as good as it was, I was amazed by the graphics and the story, it was a bit far fetched but still entertaining, the only gripe I have with it is that it was really short. A very short game with a very easy platinum. I chose Inspector First Class as the hardest trophy as everything else was pretty straightforward and collectibles are the bane of my trophy hunting life! If you can find this game cheap, I'd highly recommend buying it. -------------#3 - Grand Theft Auto: San AndreasThe Key to San Andreas'Unlock all trophies.'Date Achieved - 26 January 2016Trophy No. - 561Rarity - RareConsole - PS4Difficulty - 5/10Enjoyment - 10/10Hardest Trophy - Bike or Biker (Complete BMX or NRG challenge)Status - 100% CompletedSummary Oh the nostalgia. I played this game so much on the PS2 when I was a kid, I couldn't get enough of it, but it was one game I never ever finished. When I saw this on the PS Store, I just had to buy it and finally fulfill my childhood dream of completing it. I didn't care how bad the graphics were (although when I was a kid, they were the best thing ever), the game was just amazing, it felt so good to be playing it again and when I finally got to play out the rest of the story, it was just wow, somehow I never got the story spoiled for me, after 11 years I still didn't know what happened and I'm so glad I didn't know, it made the whole experience of completing it even better. Some of the trophies were very frustrating, namely Bike or Biker which took me so many attempts to finally do and The Los Santos Slayer, which was the 4000 kill count, I thought I'd be near it by the end of the story but I was nowhere near, so it took me a while to kill the remaining people (tank spam) which was a boring grind. All in all, amazing to get to replay a classic game like this, hopefully more PS2 games from my childhood get released into the PS Store. -------------#4 - Until Dawn A Symphony of Horror Trophies'You collected all Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies in Until Dawn'Date Achieved - 3 March 2016Trophy No. - 650Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 10/10Hardest Trophy - They All Live (All eight friends survived until dawn)Status - 100% CompletedSummary What. A. Game. My mate recommended I play this, as he thoroughly enjoyed playing it, safe to say, I was definitely not disappointed. This game was different for me, as I never had played games which are solely based on choices you make, but it really impressed me. The graphics, the story, the gameplay, the cast, just everything worked so well and had me engrossed from start til finish. There were some moments where I got big scares, some moments where it made me laugh and some moments where I was just like 'wow'. Near enough a perfect game for me, but it also made me panic at times where I thought I made the wrong choice and killed someone therefore voiding the They All Live trophy but thankfully I managed to get it. The platinum required playing the last half of the game three times, which was a bit boring but at least you got to see the various cut scenes from different choices. Overall, amazing game, easy platinum, thoroughly recommend. Side note, I started to watch Mr. Robot because Rami Malek (plays Josh in the game) is the main character in it, so I recommend this show as well! -------------#5 - Need for SpeedPlatinum Trophy'Earn all Need for Speed™ Trophies'Date Achieved - 8 May 2016Trophy No. - 753Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 3/10Hardest Trophy - Can I Get Your Autograph? (Reach REP Level 50)Status - DLC to completeSummary After enjoying all the old PS2 Need For Speed games, I was excited to play this. Three of my mates got the platinum for this before me, so that gave me more inspiration to go for it too. I was actually pretty disappointed with the game, it just got boring really quickly but luckily enough it was an easy platinum so I didn't have to play the game for too long. If it wasn't for the Serious Fun trophy, which was to complete 15 daily challenges, I would have obtained this platinum way quicker. Also, the Can I Get Your Autograph? trophy took me a while as I wasn't level 50 after I had completed the story, so had to grind out the extra rep, which was annoying. The only enjoyment I got out of the story was that the actor who plays Travis (Leo Gregory) played Bovver in Green Street, a film which I really enjoyed as a teen! -------------#6 - Sleeping Dogs: Definitive EditionHong Kong Legend'Earn all the Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition trophies to unlock this platinum trophy.'Date Achieved - 14 May 2016Trophy No. - 775Rarity - Uncommon Console - PS4Difficulty - 4/10Enjoyment - 8/10Hardest Trophy - Pure Gold (Achieve 30 Gold Stat Awards)Status - DLC to completeSummary I had already played this and 100%'ed it before I got a PS4, as I had a gaming PC before I gave in and went back to console, so I knew exactly what was coming for this. It didn't kill the enjoyment much, as I loved the story first time round and was happy to replay it. This has probably been the only game that I had on PC that I was willing to play again on PS4, so that says something about it, but if it was the first time I had played it, it would have got a higher enjoyment rating. The only real problematic trophy was the Pure Gold trophy, as it was a bit of a long and tedious grind to get some of the stats up to gold. But overall, I'd definitely recommend this game for the story alone, the easy platinum is a bonus. -------------#7 - Game of ThronesLord of Ironrath'Completed Season 1 of Game of Thrones.'Date Achieved - 19 May 2016Trophy No. - 834Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 1/10Enjoyment - 3/10Hardest Trophy - Sentinel (Complete Episode 6)Status - 100% CompletedSummary My 2nd Telltale Games experience and quite a disappointing one compared to The Walking Dead Season Two, as I've never watched Game of Thrones in my life, even though I know most of the characters in the game are not involved in the show, I still felt like I needed to have watched it first. It got boring really quickly and I couldn't wait to be done with it, the only reason I bought it was because it was on offer for cheap, and I enjoyed my first Telltale game. I will continue to get Telltale stuff, just need to make sure it's something I'm interested in first! -------------#8 - The Walking DeadThe Walking Dead'Earn all trophies in: "The Walking Dead"'Date Achieved - 31 May 2016Trophy No. - 921Rarity - CommonConsole - PS3 (via PS Now on PS4)Difficulty - 1/10Enjoyment - 10/10Hardest Trophy - What Remains (Complete Episode 5: "No Time Left")Status - DLC to completeSummary The feels. Now this was brilliant, sadly I played Season Two first as it was free for PS+ users, but that still didn't stop this from being a great experience. I can't recommend this game enough and I'm not ashamed to say it is the first game I have shed a tear at... If you've played this, I know you did too, don't lie! -------------#9 - Goat SimulatorAll The Goat!'Unlock all the Goat Trophies!'Date Achieved - 14 June 2016Trophy No. - 1012Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 4/10Hardest Trophy - The Flapmaster (Score 10 points in Flappy Goat)Status - DLC to completeSummary The less said about this, the better. Only bought because it was on offer for really cheap, I was bored and saw that it was an easy enough platinum. I'd only recommend it if you're super bored and looking for a quick platinum! Although it can be very frustrating, remember Flappy Bird? Well, there's a trophy based on that called The Flapmaster, where you have to get past 10 points, it took me around half an hour just for this damn trophy to pop, it was rage inducing just like the original game was. I did enjoy getting the deadmau5 trophy (Goats 'n' Stuff) though! -------------#10 - Grand Theft Auto 3King of Liberty City'Unlock all trophies.'Date Achieved - 14 June 2016Trophy No. - 1021Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 6/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - Is That All You've Got? (Achieve 100% completion)Status - 100% CompletedSummary Another game from my childhood, although I never played this half as much as I played San Andreas, so I was essentially clueless when it came to the story. Getting used to the shooting was ridiculously hard for me, which made the rampages and most story missions really hard and frustrating, but after a while I finally got there. I enjoyed playing this again, it's always good replaying old games that you enjoyed when you were younger, but sorry, there is no beating San Andreas! This was a more difficult platinum than SA, most of the trophies were pretty anger inducing and grindy. I would name them, but there were actually a lot that made me rage! Now I just need to get Vice City to complete the trio. Maybe even the GTA V platinum could be worth a shot. #11 - #20 #11 - Tales from the BorderlandsWe Had Fun, Didn't We?'Complete Tales From The Borderlands'Date Achieved - 18 June 2016Trophy No. - 1056Rarity - CommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 1/10Enjoyment - 8/10Hardest Trophy - Tales Twice Told (Completed Episode 5)Status - 100% CompletedSummary Another good Telltale Games experience. Was pleased with this one, kept me interested the whole way through and was very entertaining. Had me laughing most of the time, with a few sad moments! The characters that made the game even more enjoyable for me were Gortys and LoaderBot, just couldn't help but love them. Need to look into buying more Telltale stuff, definitely interested in getting The Wolf Among Us and Batman. -------------#12 - Rocket LeagueVirtuoso'Unlock All Trophies'Date Achieved - 19 June 2016Trophy No. - 1059Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 2/10Enjoyment - 9/10Hardest Trophy - The Streak (Win 10 games in a row across any mode)Status - 100% Completed Summary Wasn't expecting this game to be so much fun, I didn't buy this solely for the platinum, me and friends were trying to find a game which we could all play together and this fit the bill perfectly. A lot of laughs have been had while playing this and the added bonus of the platinum just coming through natural play made it even better. I chose The Streak as the hardest trophy as I thought it had to be online, so I did it online, not knowing it could have been easily done against CPU opposition... duh. The most infuriating trophy was Far, Far Away... as it took so long to pop since it was glitched, the trophy requires you to drive 50km, but you need to keep the same set of wheels on the whole time as that keeps track of your distance. It was the last trophy I needed for the platinum, and it didn't pop until I had reached 80km. Many months after achieving the platinum, I'm still playing this, so much fun with friends! -------------#13 - Rory McIlroy PGA TOURPGA TOUR SUPERSTAR'Earn all Trophies'Date Achieved - 20 June 2016Trophy No. - 1063Rarity - Very RareConsole - PS4Difficulty - 6/10Enjoyment - 4/10Hardest Trophy - Supernova (Earn 350 Stars)Status - 100% CompletedSummary This was a platinum I was never expecting to get. I've always been a fan of golf games, played all the Tiger Woods games on PS2 and Xbox 360, but this was my first one for PS4. I was enjoying it for a while, but the career did get boring fairly quickly. Then after that it was onto the Night Golf challenges, 174 of them... I did the first few then just gave up. Lost all motivation as I thought I'd end up struggling with the rest and would never get the 350 stars needed for the trophy. It took me a good few months to play it again, but I powered through and managed to get the Supernova trophy, then carried on and got the Star Walk of Fame trophy, which is completing all 174 challenges. Looking back, I really don't know how I stayed so patient on this grind, thankful I did, but it really did kill the enjoyment for me. -------------#14 - Battlefield 4Platinum Trophy'Collect all other Battlefield 4™ Trophies'Date Achieved - 5 July 2016Trophy No. - 1109Rarity - Very RareConsole - PS4Difficulty - 6/10Enjoyment - 8/10Hardest Trophy - Full arsenal (Unlock all assignments and collectibles in the Campaign)Status - DLC to completeSummary Another platinum I was definitely not expecting to get, as I never play campaign modes on the hardest difficulty, I've always been too scared to as I'm not confident in my gaming abilities. I decided to go for it, it took a bit of getting used to but it wasn't actually all that hard. The trophies obviously made it a bit harder, getting the required points in every mission, collectibles, etc. but still there was a huge sense of relief and joy when I completed it, my first ever campaign on any game on the hardest level. It's definitely given me confidence to play other story modes/campaigns on the highest difficulty to clean up some of my other games, namely COD: Advanced Warfare and the Uncharteds. I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign, the graphics were impressive and the story was really good too, to add to the enjoyment, I had my mates to play with to help with the online trophies, which was fun too. -------------#15 - Goosebumps: The GameYou Can't Scare Me!'Earn every Trophy.'Date Achieved - 6 July 2016Trophy No. - 1150Rarity - CommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 2/10Enjoyment - 2/10Hardest Trophy - Say Cheese--Again! 'Take pictures of every monster possible using the Haunted Camera'Status - 100% Completed Summary Again, very bored, had a look on the store and saw this for cheap. A pretty boring and grindy experience, having to play through it at least 3 times to do everything for the trophies. I chose Say Cheese--Again! as the hardest trophy as I managed to screw it up a few times, meaning I had to restart the game every time... Not an enjoyable game for me sadly, but still a platinum at the end of it. -------------#16 - Far Cry 4Master Of Kyrat'Obtain all the Trophies.'Date Achieved - 8 September 2016Trophy No. - 1209Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 4/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - Fully Loaded (Learn all skills)Status - DLC to completeSummary I was holding off playing this for a while, due to the fact that I loved Far Cry 3 so much and I heard that this was nowhere near as good as FC3. I still went ahead and played it, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I enjoyed it, just exactly the same as FC3 near enough, but I did love FC3 a lot more than this one. Pagan Min was good, but sorry, there is no beating Vaas, one of the best video game villains I have encountered so far. I kinda ruined the game for myself though, as I chose the bad ending (trying not to spoil anything), I didn't realise there was a choice, so I was pretty annoyed at that. Ended up having to watch the other ending on YouTube and I was gutted that I never saw it while playing. Still would recommend this, now onto Far Cry Primal, but I'll wait a while before playing it. -------------#17 - Murdered: Soul SuspectMoving On'Collected every trophy in the game'Date Achieved - 10 September 2016Trophy No. - 1258Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - Collector All (Collected all of the artifacts)Status - 100% Completed Summary Found this on eBay for relatively cheap, was intrigued by it. Sounded like a very different game and it was, I liked the story, the gameplay was a bit fidgety at times due to being able to teleport everywhere which got a bit annoying at times after accidentally pressing the wrong button. An easy platinum, just make sure to be looking at a guide when playing as most of the trophies are based on collectibles, there's a staggering 242 artifacts you have to collect in the game. Easily done in one playthrough! -------------#18 - The Deadly Tower of MonstersLaundry list'Complete all other missions'Date Achieved - 29 November 2016Trophy No. - 1439Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 3/10Hardest Trophy - Super Hoopster (Fly through 50 hoops) Status - 100% Completed Summary Got this game for free on PS+, if it wasn't free I probably would have never heard of the game, let alone bought it. Another game where I just wanted to get it over and done with as quick as possible... not my type of game sadly, but a quick platinum. -------------#19 - Everybody's Gone To The RaptureThis Pattern is Mine'You got them all. You got them all.'Date Achieved - 11th December 2016Trophy No. - 1459Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 6/10Hardest Trophy - Completionist (Triggered all of the story in the game)Status - 100% CompletedSummary Another game that I got for free on PS+, but I was actually rather excited to play this one. I had no idea what to expect really, the graphics were pretty and the story arcs were entertaining. I went for the Radio Enthusiast (listening to all the radios before doing anything else) trophy first, as I wanted to play the story as a whole after I had finished the rest of the miscellaneous trophies, like Open Ended (Reached Stephen's bunker without ending any other story arc) as you have to play through the game multiple times. The Completionist trophy was my main run and when I actually listened and understood the story on this run, it really made the game a lot better, I was getting sick of the pace of it, the walking speed was so slow! But wanting to know what happened next was getting me through the game. One of the few games I've found decent on PS+. -------------#20 - Day of the Tentacle RemasteredOCD'Get all other trophies in the game' Date Achieved - 31st January 2017Trophy No. - 1528Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 2/10Enjoyment - 2/10Hardest Trophy - Mental Patience (Play the whole game without skipping a cutscene)Status - 100% CompletedSummary Another freebie from PS+ and another game which I didn't really enjoy, just wanted to get through for the platinum. This didn't take long at all, took me 3 hours and 25 minutes while using a guide, so it was worth the download. I chose Mental Patience as the hardest trophy because it was so tempting just to skip the cutscenes as they were so long and I wanted to get through the game as quick as possible. #21 - #25 #21 - Grand Theft Auto VLos Santos Legend'Congratulations! You're Vinewood's biggest star!'Date Achieved - 4th February 2017Trophy No. - 1533Rarity - Ultra RareConsole - PS4Difficulty - 7/10Enjoyment - 9/10Hardest Trophy - Career Criminal (Attain 100% Game Completion)Status - DLC to completeSummary My first Ultra Rare platinum. I was definitely not expecting to get this! I was always put off by the Solid Gold, Baby! trophy (70 gold medals in missions) and a lot of others, also the fact it is a 0.1% platinum (not on here it isn't though). After getting a few gold medals in missions I started to study the trophy list and I was thinking more and more that the platinum could be obtainable. I did all the collectibles, that was boring and tedious in itself, but then did all the miscellaneous stuff like stunt jumps, rampages, etc. I'm trying hard not to mention the Close Shave trophy, those Knife Flights nearly had me throwing my controller against the wall. All of a sudden I was near enough there, all I had to do was the gold medals, 100% completion and the online levels. The last trophy I had to get was Above the Law, which was to get to level 100 online, it took me long enough to get to level 50 so I was dreading this. Double RP stunt races with friends helped me a lot, that got me through to around level 72 in a week or so, then I grinded out the remaining 28 levels in a few days from the Double RP in Vehicle Vendetta. I'm so glad that I've got the platinum for this and here's hoping for more Ultra Rares! ------------- #22 - Far Cry Primal Apex Predator 'Obtain all the Trophies.' Date Achieved - 13th February 2017Trophy No. - 1583Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 4/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - Expert Wenja (Learn all skills)Status - 100% CompletedSummary I was never really interested in playing this, as much as I love the Far Cry series, I just didn't think I'd be able to get into it since I was thinking it would be a lot different without guns, etc. One of my mates got the platinum for this before me and recommended I play it, so I caved and gave it a shot. To be fair, it is near enough a carbon copy of the other Far Cry games, the same situation with skill points, outposts and stuff like that, so I still managed to enjoy it. The story itself was very, very short and relatively boring in comparison to the other games in the series, but I just enjoyed the gameplay, hence the high enjoyment rating. It got a bit grindy and annoying trying to get the last remaining skill points, as there are a lot of side quests you have to do for them, it just gets really repetitive, but it needed to be done! An easy enough platinum, which doesn't take long at all. ------------- #23 - Life Is Strange What If? 'Unlock all other trophies from Life Is Strange™' Date Achieved - 14th February 2017Trophy No. - 1644Rarity - UncommonConsole - PS4Difficulty - 2/10Enjoyment - 10/10Hardest Trophy - Selfie Awareness (Take all optional photos in Episode 5: Polarized)Status - 100% CompletedSummary Was always wanting to play this as I enjoy the 'making choices to determine what happens' kind of games and heard very good reviews about it. Managed to pick it up really cheap and I'm delighted that I did, what a game! The story had me engrossed, I literally played it non-stop for a whole day. The story was incredible, an emotional rollercoaster, just like Telltale's Walking Dead, I may have shed a tear (now the 2nd game ever to do that!). The soundtrack was brilliant too, full of acoustic songs I hadn't heard in ages, especially José González - Crosses, a song I adored when I was younger, so that made me really happy. I can't say much about the story without spoiling it sadly, but wow, I thoroughly recommend it. The platinum is pretty straightforward, there are 10 optional photographs you have to take during every episode and that is essentially it, but you can replay episodes in 'Collectible Mode' so you can skip to a part of the episode where you've missed one of the photos. Cheap, great story and a easy platinum, what more can you ask for? ------------- #24 - Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Scorched Savior 'Collect all other Saints Row: Gat out of Hell trophies' Date Achieved - 26th February 2017Trophy No. - 1690Rarity - RareConsole - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - The King of Hell (Complete ALL of the Challenges)Status - 100% CompletedSummary Downloaded this a few months back as it was a free game on PS+, but it just kept on getting pushed down and down the backlog until now. I was hesitant to play it as I've never really played a Saints Row game before and it looked like a massive grind with over 1000 collectibles and a lot of challenges to complete. My mate managed to get the platinum before me, he did it fairly quickly and said the grind wasn't too bad, so I went for it too. The game itself frustrated me at times, due to being so buggy (getting stuck in walls/buildings, crashing all the time) but thank god it had a frequent autosave, otherwise I would have given up. The story was short, as was expected since it's just essentially DLC, but I enjoyed playing through it. The challenges got a bit tedious, as it's just pretty much killing enemies over and over again but in different ways, quite annoying especially when it's over 100 enemies for each challenge. Getting all the collectibles wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, seeing as there was over 1000 of them, they were mainly just soul clusters which are easy to get to and are literally everywhere, everything was easy to find and was displayed on the map anyway. I'm glad I finally decided to play it and glad it's finally off the backlog. ------------- #25 - Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition True Survivor 'Unlock every Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition trophy.' The multiplayer is dead, so getting the trophies were a bit of a task and it took way longer than I expected to get to level 60 by boosting solo so I do not recommend it at all... The trophies were fine for single player, nothing there which caused too much hassle, I had already played this on my PC before so I knew what to do and what was coming. I wasn't expecting to get this platinum and very happy I did. 100% Without Platinums #1 - #4 #1 - The Walking Dead: Season 2Date Achieved - 20th November 2015Console - PS4Difficulty - 1/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - All The Dead Lie Down (Completed Episode 5: "No Going Back")Summary My first PS+ free game and my first Telltale Games experience. I felt a bit bad playing this without playing Season 1, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. The way the choices determined what happened in the story really interested me and the story itself was good. I will definitely be getting more Telltale stuff in the future! -------------#2 - NBA 2K17: The Prelude Date Achieved - 12th September 2016Console - PS4Difficulty - 2/10Enjoyment - 8/10Hardest Trophy - You Gotta Represent (Play with Team USA on the biggest global stage)Summary I downloaded this as I am an NBA fan (Miami Heat fan if you must know) and was playing NBA 2K16 a lot at the time, trying to grind out some of the trophies. I never expected this to have trophies, so that came as a surprising bonus when I started playing it. From playing just this prelude, I could already tell that the story was going to be a lot better than the one in 2K16. But sadly, I'm just not quite sure if I'll be purchasing 2K17, as the trophies are exactly the same as 2K16 and some of them are just ridiculous! -------------#3 - Gone Home Date Achieved - November 16th 2016Console - PS4Difficulty - 3/10Enjoyment - 7/10Hardest Trophy - Homerunner (Completed the game in less than 1 minute with no Modifiers enabled)Summary Another PS+ freebie, I heard good reviews about this and I weirdly enjoy these kind of games where it's just story driven, where you don't have to do anything but walk around and find stuff to enhance the story. The story was interesting and enjoyable, it was a nice, relaxing change. I was stuck between Homerunner and Speedreader (Completing the game having found all 24 journal entries, with no Modifiers enabled, in less than 10 minutes) for the hardest trophy, but as I managed to get Speedreader first time (thankfully!) I chose Homerunner due to the fact it took me a lot of attempts to get it to pop. ------------- #4 - Disc Jam Date Achieved - March 19th 2017Console - PS4Difficulty - 4/10Enjoyment - 5/10Hardest Trophy - Unstoppable (Win 50 public online matches)Summary I had high hopes for this, thinking this would be a great game for me and my mates to play and that it would end up being a great multiplayer game to play whenever we're bored, just like Rocket League. It's definitely fallen short of my expectations as I haven't touched it since I got the 100% and I've only played a handful of matches with my friends. I don't know what the problem with it is really, it was just rather boring, especially having to grind out the 50 wins online when you're not very good at the game! Nonetheless, it was free so I can't really complain. Hopefully it improves in the near future. taywahhhh
Been a while since I last updated, but there's not much to really update you all on to be honest. ? 100%'ed Disc Jam last month, so that's been added to the list, removed Minecraft from my Currently Playing as the 100 hours trophy must be glitched since it just won't pop.. I might buy the disc version without installing the updates and see if it unlocks then. I have added Thief and WWE 2K16 to my Currently Playing/Working Towards because they were low percentages in my trophy list, so getting the platinum for Thief is my current goal, whereas WWE 2K16 is a long term goal because there is such a grind for it, managed to get the online trophies before the servers shut next month so there is no real time limit for it now. Also I have added Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel) and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth to my backlog as I recently purchased them because the deals were on them were too good to resist, but I still have plenty of games to platinum before I can even start them! Hopefully I'll have more platinums to update this list with in the very near future! ?
FawltyPowers
I enjoyed reading through your game summaries. You have a few games on your list I'm interested in when I turn my PS4 on: Until Dawn Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Alien: Isolation Everybody's Gone To The Rapture Grand Theft Auto V Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor The only Grand Theft Auto game I played is San Andreas back on the PS2, as you've played it as well how do you think it compares to GTA V? Going for Ultra Rares is like most things in life - when you look at it as a whole it seems unachievable, take it one step at a time, keep chipping at it and you get there. Gratz on the GTA V platinum.

Gratz on the GTA V platinum. Thanks for the comment! As for that list, I've still got to do Alien and Shadow of Mordor, I'm too scared to go back to Alien for just now, that's definitely going to be a hard one to get a high percentage, let alone the platinum! Shadow of Mordor will probably be what I play next after Thief. San Andreas was brilliant to play again, the graphics and game mechanics are obviously hard to get used to since it's an old game, but the nostalgia and the story is worth it. In comparison to GTA V, the platinum is 1000x easier, same with GTA 3, the platinums were easy, whereas the GTA V platinum was a tedious grind with all the collectibles, gold medals, multiplayer levels etc. I prefer the GTA V game mechanics and graphics (goes without saying really) but prefer the San Andreas trophies and story. A combination of the two or a remaster of San Andreas would be insanely good! I agree, GTA V was exactly like that. WWE 2K16 is turning out to be the same, I've managed to get all the online trophies which I wasn't expecting to do at all, even before the servers had a closing date, but now the platinum is in my hands as all I've got to do is buy all the skills, abilities and managers, although that is a massive grind in itself. Thanks again for that!
