Stardew Valley English Community

[GizMo_The_Great]

I created a PlayStation 4 community a while back for English Speaking gamers. It's called Stardew Valley [Eng] it's a very active community offering friendship, help and advice. 

 

There are other communities, but currently this is the most active. We offer daily updates, custom content, our own YouTube channel is in the works to help with tips and trophy guides. 

As a lifelong Harvest Moon fan, I am committed to this game. I have been playing since pre-release on PC and am now happy to be able to play on my console of choice: PlayStation 4.

 

I will also be looking for extra moderators in the coming weeks if anyone is interested

I saw this guys Community pop up a few days after ours, I don't wanna bug him, he's free to have his own. Plus his caters to all languages, mine is primarily for English Speaking.

 

The only reason I decided to post this on here is because the community created by Champion Prince is newer than ours but has had a huge influx of members since he advertised on here. So I thought I'd post ours on here too. 

 

If in in the future he wants to join up I'd be up for it. I have just created a YouTube channel for ours and am in the process of making content for it.

I really love your community and I'm impressed how dedicated you are to it. Like mine. I did see other communities and yours before making one. I purely made one because like you I was a big Harvest Moon fan back in the day and I really want to see other people's reaction to the game on the PS4. Sadly I never got to experience the release of it on PC since I didn't own one at the time so I decided to wait until it came on PS4. So you know more of the game than I do.haha. And it's so awesome you made a youtube channel for it too.

 

What it all comes down to though is the game & making friends from both our communities. Even if someone decides to join yours instead of mine it's totally fine. I just want my community to be fun and to let people share their stories and their creativity to the board. Our goal is to get as many people to play this game and show them it's not just a "farming" game. It's more than that. 

 

I don't know what else to say. haha. But keep doing what you're doing! And I hope both our communities stay strong for a very long time.

I wouldn't say rivals, more like arch enemies ? lol. 

Haha no honestly I'm a member of your community myself, along with a few others. I created mine for the same reason, I want to help promote the game and help people. I'm not too proud to admit I was a little shocked when I saw yours overtake mine, but in all honesty I hadn't really promoted it anywhere. So that's why I posted it here. But I don't think people need to choose, I think people will benefit from either community, or both, or all of them. 

In the meantime it's nice to have somewhere I can write a bit less formal and just socialise. 

 

I'm just happy people who don't have access to the game on PC are now able to experience this incredible title. So hopefully between us, and the other communities dedicated to the game, we can further help make everyone's experience a great one.
