Forum Leaderboard feedback

I think this portion of the new forum engine has to be disabled.

I'm fine with still having reputation on posts and the total on your profile, but a leaderboard...

1. Feels unnecessary
2. Feels in your face
3. Makes the forum a competition
4. Nothing good will come of it in the long run

That's mostly about bugs though.

 

This is an entirely new feature of this forum engine, not a bug, or something that existed already and has changed.

At the very least, I think reputation from the forum games and other subforums that don't count toward "content count" should not be counted as reputation. Either that or disable even giving reputation in those subforums.

Make the weekly leaderboards reset every sunday and remove it from the main page. It just motivates people to spam the forum games which don't count toward your total posts but do count for the like count. Maybe disable the likes for forum games instead? Then the leaderboard would ACTUALLY be something worth seeing, as people who make helpful threads or posts will actually give some rep.
