JAS2099
While playing Modern Warfare Remastered, this message has appeared "Cannot continue using the application. The data for the following application is corrupted. Delete the application from the PS4 and then download from the library again". This has happened to me twice, earlier this week while I was on mission 20 at the end. And again today during mission 16 at the very beginning. What can I do to fix this problem? I've tried looking up solutions for this but couldn't find a definite fix. This has only occurred while playing MWR and I'm worried about my other downloaded games. Any help is appreciated. TheYuriG
I suppose you have deleted the game in those scenarios and then downloaded it again? If so, I suspect the problem lies within your hard drive. Did you upgrade from the stock 500GB one?
JAS2099
Yes, both times the message appeared, I deleted the application afterwards. No, I haven't upgraded my hdd. Still using the stock 500GB that came with my ps4.
Barriebar17
Ps4 has had and still has this happening a lot unfortunately. Only thing I can advice you is to make an habit of backing up your saves. Honestly in this era I have an USB memory stick plugged in all the time and everytime I have progressed in a game and close the application, I back up my progression.
