Stash Box Use

Regarding the stash box where you can store your inventory, what exactly do you feel should be stored besides weapons/armor that you are not using?  I didn't know if this is a good place to store the crafting and alchemy inventory.  Are you required to revisit the stash box to pull ingredients, or are they readily accessible because they are still technically owned?  Sorry if this is the wrong place or a dumb question; just getting back to this game

Since you carry a lot of materials, and if, like me, you just grab everything you can out of containers, it would be a good place to store the stuff you don't plan on using right away, so it doesn't clutter up your inventory. Aside from this and the weapons/armour you mentioned, I can't see much of a use for it. I rarely used it, personally.

I mostly restore those rune stones that I don't need them at times and the horse saddles that I wanna use later

I usually keep the crafting ingredients with me the whole time.

Thanks so much to both of you!  Coming from playing ESO where you had a bottomless storage, wasn't sure just how this worked in The Witcher.

I never used these stash box unless for my armors and weapons. I usually sell all the crap I don't need, and all the alchemy/crafting material aren't heavy at all !
