markcavan
I'm looking for a quick bit of advice from please on Terraria as I'm somewhat of a novice. I'm pretty much ready to take on hard mode, all pre hard mode bosses have been killed (bar wall of flesh), all pre hard mode NPC's have moved in, I've Superior Night's Edge, full batch of Warding accessories, Molten Armor, dungeon fully explored and about 70% of my map uncovered. So I think I'm ready. I've even the underworld ready for the hard mode fight. So, my question. As hard mode is permanent and the world I'm using is my main world I don't want to really mess it up as I have all my loot within my house/hotel. I cannot go back once unlocked so I want to make sure there is nothing else I should do now before unlocking hard mode. Anything you can think off ? TheYuriG
Nothing pre hardmode gets locked once you upgrade IIRC. All you want to get belongs to HM anyway
markcavan
Thanks @TheYuriG just wanted to be sure. The whole "Your World is Corrupt" and "Your World is Hallowed" is confusing to me as I've heard they 'spread' but I'm sure it'll make sense as I unlock hard mode and work my way through it. TheYuriG
Corruption hallow and crimson spread more violently after hardmode but you can stop it with clentaminator and green solution
DARKB1KE
Depends how you set up your character options. You can set it to only drop money on death (money is pointless in this game), or set it to drop all armor/items on death. Obviously pick the money option.
