DLC Item Lists

I figured I’d make a list outlining the items that both the free and paid DLCs provide. Normally a list wouldn’t be needed, but since some of the store listings are vague and don’t list the exact items, I felt it was needed.

I know “paid loot boxes” are almost universally despised, and I feel like these specifically are not needed and may lessen your enjoyment of the game. However they are cheap for what they do ($1,50 gains you 6 levels for example). It’s ultimately your decision: Get the platinum sooner, but at the cost of possibly ruining your enjoyment of this great game?

Notes:

  • This is based on the PlayStation Store using a USA account.
  • Free Sets are free. Other sets cost $1 or $1.50 per set.
  • Each of these can only be bought once, so none are infinite. However, the permanent level and stat gaining sets can be bought up to five times.
  • They can be redeemed once per playthrough. If you were to start multiple new games, they can all be redeemed for each game. However, I’m not sure if they can be redeemed again on New Game +, since I haven’t beat the game yet

Can these items be used in the Dana sections? I am having a real hard time trying to beat Le-Kyanos on Nightmare mode. I have no healing items and it looks like you don’t get any at all anyway. This boss fight is standing between me and the platinum :(

Im having the same problem right now. I have 6 dragon fruit, but I can't seem to hold them long enough to get past the meteor attack. Did the dlc items help you?

So that fight you just have nothing to use you literally have to push through. From what I remember running in attacking him once or twice if you can then running away wait for him to perform his actions then do the same thing again. This is slow but will eventually work and kill him. I’ve noticed there is a certain level of RNG with this fight as the amount of damage he takes vs the moves he makes vary from each failed attempt so if you stick with that should luck out and beat it too. Seems to be a common theme I am finding out with Falcom games.

This fight is by far the hardest part on Nightmare in the Vita version. Unfortunately, the DLC items aren't available during this fight.

Thanks for the tips though I was hoping for better news. I did notice a bit of RNG when some of the fights started with his ice ball attack. I'm I only able to Flash Guard it 23% of the time. I'm hoping I get better at that. Then there's his super seiyen meteor attack that gets me 100% of the time. I guess I'll just be patient then.

Good luck i am shit usually at these sorts of things but i managed to do it eventually, Flash Guard really does help as well of course but yeah slow and steady with this fight on Nightmare and you will beat it :D

Hitting him when he was gearing up to do the meteor attack helped a lot. I managed to do a bit the 1st time, then the 2nd time I got enough EXTRA meter to do some damage on my last sliver of HP. What an absolutely frustrating fight.

I agree, the fight is very frustrating. It has been fixed in the PS4 version.
