Question about Pittois Dungeon

Hey, I have a question about the secret dungeon that you unlock by beating the main story of the game. I heard it's one of the hardest secret dungeons ever in the history of RPGs. But I wonder... If you fall into the bottomless abyss in the dungeon, do you die and have to start over from your last save?

There are checkpoints. Its actually a pretty fun dungeon, although you can get easily annoyed by the cheap deaths you will probably experience.

 

If its too cumbersome, i'd suggest using a video guide.

This dungeon was great. I only played it maybe 10 months after release, since it wasn't needed for completion, but it is a very surreal experience and I'm glad I did it. I suggest doing it for real, besides the Oracle coins you find are better prize than the Black Cowl.

There is checkpoints all over the place, and it definitely isn't the hardest. Once you learn about the jump safe, you'll fly through the place (pretty much, you can purposely over jump, but you will be locked onto whatever platform you were aiming for).
