Where in camp is Jack located in Chapter 3?

I had a request to get an item for Jack, I found the item but I can't find Jack to give it to him. Where abouts in the camp is he?

He is typically by the shoreline of the river fishing or playing in the sand.

Maybe you got the bug aswell: 

  If that's the case, you have to wait until Chapter 4 to complete the errand.

Thanks for the info. Strange bug. Now I come to think of it, The other characters you mentioned are also missing.. I didn't even realise! I don't mind waiting, although it is a bit annoying.

I had a strange bug too, got an item request from Micah so I went to retrieve it.

 

Got the item and went back to camp. Couldn't find Micah anywhere... Until I saw him patrolling the forest outside of camp. The "give request" option was greyed out and I couldn't give him the item. I thought it was his turn to watch the camp so I went to sleep a few days and nothing changed. Eventually I started to annoy him with my presence and somehow he walked towards the camp.. as soon as he entered the camp, the give request option turned white and I could give him the item...
