End of December i'll be thinking of my personal GOTY's But nowadays Game of the year is more subjective as it has ever been so it'll be tough to get to the 'true' GOTY you mentioned. And isn't really that impactful anymore as there are so many variations of it from different media corners. I don't know what you mean by 'p.s trophy thoughts?' could you elaborate on that question? Also the post title 'Excellent' is a single word and doesn't seem to have anything to do with what you are asking in the post itself.
