Free Roam Missions Glitched?

Every time I try to start a quest from someone with pink-ish marker, the quest/mission doesn't start. It just puts me there. Am I supposed to wait or do something? Please tell me it's not glitched, and if it is, will Rockstar fix it?

the online is buggy as heck...have had really good luck during the day (north american time) with free roam quests...from like 23:00 till like 8:00 they glitch like this...another glitch is that you can start them but can't complete them...the timer expires and the lobby becomes glitched with no quests available as you get stuck in that one...i'm guessing it's server related...tried starting them solo (usually play in a full persistent posse)...quiet lobbies...rebooting system...nothing worked...here's to hoping it gets fixed...i've encountered quite a few glitches with other stuff too...horses, outfits, loadouts, etc...disconnection and lag problems and system freezes too...so far, the quality of red dead online is mediocre at best imo...yes, I know, it's just a beta and likely high traffic is affecting the game as well...

Yup some are completely glitched, some just take about 30 seconds to start and some work absolutely fine. Now the beta has opened to all players it constantly hard crashes on me. Going to leave it for a few days and see if any fixes arrive.

I was glitched out somehow and was online but with 0 other players, so could easily do free roam missions without being attacked by players
