This one Actually you can use any weapon (except melee weapon such as sword) to destroy those helicopters easily if your character’s level is pretty high as well as using a lv.10 weapons. It took me exact 121 hours and 17 minutes since I used a stopwatch to keep track of my gameplay time to exclude the guide writing time. Just don't use sword or any Midgard girls' weapon except Stave (but it's not good either), you are not required to use Sword or specific weapons. You should level Larodia (elder dark-elf sister) as much as you can then use her S.O.D. and a high leveled machine gun, you can one-shot most of enemies even on Ecstasy mode.
