Xur Is Selling Year 2 Exotics

FYI check out Xur if you still need the Exotique trophy. He sold two last week and 1 this week. Makes the trophy way easier.

For anyone going for this right now, don't buy his Fated Engram.  As of now, Forsaken exotics are not part of the loot for his Fated Engram.  You'll only get exotics that are part of the year 1 loot pool.

This is incorrect. Things may have changed since you posted this, but fated engrams award Forsaken exotics now.

I believe it was correct when he posted it though. I saw Xur selling some year 2 stuff a while ago and bought a fated engram only to receive some year 1 gloves I already had. Good to know they changed it though.

Maybe. My only reason in correcting it was to make sure everyone reading the thread had the most recent info. 

 

Do you have all the exotics on the character that you bought the fated engram with? Might explain why you got y1 stuff. I have a friend that just recently returned to D2 tell me that fated engrams now award forsaken exotics. I believe he’s gotten forsaken gear for the past couple of weeks and I just got the heart of inmost light last weekend which is one of the last two I’m missing for my titan.

Yeah, I understood that. Was just commenting that it wasn't technically incorrect, just an old post.

 

I think it was the first week Xur sold year 2 stuff when I bought an engram on my warlock, who was missing like four armor pieces and three weapons. I had all non-Forsaken exotics on all classes for ages. Got some year 1 gauntlets that I had already.

 

It might have been fixed soon afterwards, as I didn't really bother checking.

Late response sorry.  Yes it's changed now, Forsaken exotics are now in the loot pool for his Fated Engram.

It wasn't like that when I posted it.  I just wanted to let everyone know that beforehand since a lot of people were complaining about it on the subreddit and stuff.
