Popular Post Copanele
So after finally beating the EU version and achieving 100% I decided to give some hints about how to beat this game and 100% as easily as possible with every character. Consider this a half-guide ( I don't know if this game actually requires a proper guide since it's quite simple if you counter-abuse the cheap but at times dumb AI.) First of all set the timer to 30 seconds. Some chars are really weak so a time out win can help big time. Second, plug in a 2nd controller , it's mandatory if you want to get the secret Baiken fight (Unless you are a god at Guilty Gear , then mad respects) Be aware that this game has an instakill attack. Considering you face the enemy to the right, be near the opponend and use + (or punch + kick). If the screen flashes red then use the combo ⬇️↘️➡️ , and any attack (or quarter circle front and any attack, I still use P+K just in case ) ,that's when you will attempt an instakill . You will know if it worked , trust me. The enemy can pull an instakill on you too though so you have to use a ⬇️↙️⬅️, + (or punch + kick). This is iffy though so it's not that easy to pull. An instakill finishes the entire match , even if you are at round 1. Instakill is pretty much guaranteed up until fight 5 , then you have to be really lucky to land one , while the AI will attempt the same. Vs Justice or Baiken it's pretty much impossible to land an instakill (tried 16 times in a row on Justice, she evaded every single one of them). And now for the characters! While beating the regular characters is easy enough if you know the way Guilty Gear is played, beating the last two enemies Testament and Justice can prove difficult due to the fact that the AI can be incredibly cheap and read your inputs. Common tactics : Testament's weakness is the habit to rush on you, use that on your advantage, just make sure you don't end up in the corner or you are pretty much dead. Justice's weakness is getting herself into the corner . Abuse of that. Sol Badguy , Ky Kiske , Zato-1 , Chipp Zanuff : With these characters I discovered that the best tactic is Jump + (HS) , followed by a crouch + (S) OR (HS) . Backpedal for 2 steps then repeat. It can stunlock pretty much any enemy except Baiken , I will get to her later. The worst at this strategy is Chipp, his attacks have weird frames and he can be interrupted so expect to have several tries with him. Alpha Blade attack is really bad in this game so don't even think of abusing it especially vs trap master Testament. Axl Low : Pretty straightforward, just press , followed by ⬅️+. He will do a scythe HS ,followed by a grab throw. I didn't have any other issues with him . Same tactic can work with Zato-1 if you prefer this one, but on Zato-1 you need to be mindful of zoning with him. Potemkin : Another even more straightforward character, just spam for the entirety of the game. He just...punches very hard and his range is huge. If you lose by any chance, just try again it will work eventually ( I died only once vs justice she stunlocked me to death) Millia Rage : Here is where things get abit tricky. The bright side is that Millia's damage output can be insane. I just cornered the enemy and spammed Living Lancer (⬇️↙️⬅️ + or ⬇️↘️➡️ + ). Also her ultra , Iron Maiden is really easy to pull (⬇️↘️➡️ ⬇️↘️➡️ + ) Kliff Undersn : for this grandpa, what I discovered that works best is his Zugaisai attack (⬇️↙️⬅️ + ) followed by a regular . Kliff will spin at the opponent and slash. Even if the opponent is blocking you can just stunlock him. Special mention for Kliff, if you get the enemy into a "Faint" state (or stun), it's ok to use . Kliff's heavy slash does insane amounts of damage but it has a "cooldown" of sorts ( Kliff pants after using it for 1 second so use that wisely). Dr. Baldhead : Really annoying to play as him, I just crouched + , hoping that the enemies would jump in my attack. This won't always work. What is best though is that Dr Baldhead is the only one that can avoid Justice's Gamma Ray just by crouching. May : Easily the weakest character in the game, the only upside is her absurd damage output. What usually works is crouch + . She will normally sweep the opponent down and if you time it right you can stunlock the opponent. If by any chance the opponent blocks, jump + then follow with crouch + . Just keep trying,it can be done. SECRET BAIKEN FIGHT : You have to finish the game as Sol or Ky without losing once ( no continue screen). This can prove to be infuriating at times . I used Ky Kiske to do this. My advices : Keep the 2nd controller near you. If you are close to dying or the AI has the courtesy to spam his stupid instakill , press Start on the 2nd controller , you will get " A challenger has appeared" and fight P2 (the second controller) After defeating justice and seeing the credits you will get the " A challenger has appeared" . Funny enough, Baiken is even harder to beat than Justice . What I used against her was Ky Kiske's sliding attack (⬇️↘️➡️ + ) , always trying to keep my distance, blocking and only using this attack after she spams those green tatami mats. She can still pull some bullshit launchers even if you block so it might take several tries. That is kinda it , hope this will help someone in the future ?. Have fun , enjoy and eventually wait for a discount, the EU version is quite pricy (or better yet, get the other versions at better price ) Edited May 24, 2019 by Copanele

ifyucantbeatmeXD
crap at fighting games so im not surprised im experiencing difficulty, but playing through Normal Mode w/ Chipp was a nightmare from Round 1...vs Sol was easily the worst, then i realised the best way to play this game for me is defensively...set the timer to 30 secs, hold Back on the D-Pad and abuse OPTIONS button LOL and only press Circle when the chance presents itself Chipp vs Justice i only won bc i was lucky enough to land a instakill!! So yes it is possible to land instakill moves on every single opponent in this game they're also quite easy to initiate but getting the combo during the red flash down is insanely tricky for me since even after having spent a 100 hrs total on fighting games i have no idea how to reliably execute a QC...but i hope this bit of info helps noobs like me vs Justice...especially with fricking Chipp!! He has the coolest theme imo but man i had no idea he was so squishy and dealt such low dmg until i actually tried playing him...he is very fast though great guide btw!! just not for me i guess, playing defensively instead of aggressively is actually a great tactic though for those struggling like me so try it! except for Potemkin, he can smash anything in a few secs flat Edited October 26, 2019 by MeteoraXV
ifyucantbeatmeXD
this is hands down one of the hardest games ive played, along with Castlevania yesterday (crap controls) Justice is total BS with insane hitboxes and spammy no startup specials that shave of half your HP, i dont think ive ever beaten it legit, the only reason i was able to 100% this at all is bc of lucky instakills and spamming OPTIONS and getting TIME'S UPs! i dont think ive ever been able to execute a special attack even once in the game Sol and Justice are both hardest enemies in the game thankfully the last two stages were easy with Baldhead, 1 try win, nice way to end this game 5hrs and 3/10 difficulty is also kinda misleading, it's definitely more like 12hrs and 8.5/10 imo. i must've spent like 2hrs w/ Chipp and another 2hrs with Zato just against Justice alone i really want to like some of these older games but they're just so badly designed Edited November 2, 2019 by MeteoraXV
