Do stats save when you get busted?

I’m going for the 100 cops taken down trophy. If i crash a few cop cars and then get busted or wreck my car, does it still count? Or do i have to visit the garage manually to save it?

Im almost certain the stats save when busted. Mine popped fairly early and in the early part of the game i got busted loads.

I used to farm the rivers to wreck cop cars. They go that fast they almost always go in the water. Just try and avoid the wet stuff yourself because it does a fair bit of damage

I think they do because i got the trophy very early during my playthrough
