Game freezes on load up?

My second account has the premium edition with the disc but every time it loads up to main menu if I do anything online related it will freeze the game and I can’t do anything?

anyone knows why or a fix around this one?

Dumb question, but is it the disc? Servers still seem to be up and stable. Second thing I would say could be a hard drive issue.

Unlikely it’s brand new? Hard drive possible but slim I will try it on another PS3 later to make sure

same problem here, I still haven't found a solution, mine is also disk.

So the issue is that the account doesn't have an origin account. You will need to connect to another game that allows you to create an origin account. Once you do that you will be able to get past the freeze when trying to start multiplayer.

Thank you for posting this, I had no idea why my alt would not connect. I would never have even considered this being the reason why. 

 

You can create a new EA account from their website, and can link it to your PSN account once you have done so by logging into it with your PSN details.  This can be verified by checking on the Connections tab in your EA account.
