[Video] How to farm skins (solo method)

This is how you farm skins in Override: Mech City Brawl:

• Connect 2 controllers
• Go into the main menu > Versus mode
  • Select one character on each controller, it doesn't matter which character is selected
  • Leave the match settings as is
  • Select any map
• Once the match has loaded, on the second controller:
  • Hold down PS button > Power > Log Out
  • "Player 2 has disconnected"
• Back on first controller, keep selecting "restart match"
  • You will get a new skin or money every 10-15 secs or so
  • You can even use a turbo controller that keeps spamming X,
    and afk for 30-60 mins or however long you wanna farm before checking back

For anyone starting at this point, this was patched out as far as I can tell. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but after I disconnect my second controller (using a Guest account), the second player stays in, the screen remains split, and I have to finish out the entire match. I'd back-date the game to an older version but I still need the online trophies before I can do that.

You might be doing it wrong, I'll try to reproduce this method on JP stack shortly.

So I just tried this on the JP version of the game, version 1.03 (May 15, 2022). It still works.?
If it doesn't work for you, read the top post again and follow the simple instructions.

It’s not about turning off the controller - the second controller needs to be signed into another PSN account. From that controller go to the “log out” setting above the turn off console settings.
