Right then. I've finished the story and received the trophy for helping 15 strangers but as you may well know, you need to help 18 to get 100%. So, this is the question. Does anybody know if strangers still pop up after completing the story?

yes. and if i remember correctly the 3 other stranger missions are all with 1 person, the mysterious man.

There is even one stranger mission that only pops up after you finished the story.

The three stranger missions involving the Mysterious Stranger can only be done while you're playing John Marston, not later when you play as Jack. The reason is that it's heavily implied that the Mysterious Stranger is either God or the Devil, putting John in moral situations to see what he will do, and judge him appropriately for it. If you didn't do those three missions as John, you can't do them as Jack. You have to do them before the end of the main story. You find him in the following locations: on the bluffs in Hennigans Stead west of Macfarlanes Ranch, in Mexico on a mesa south of Casa Madrugada, and at Beechers Hope Ranch in Great Plains, overlooking your house, in the same location John gets buried in later. The last stranger mission you can only do as Jack. Jack finds a marshal in Blackwater who has information on the location of Edgar Ross. Jack follows the info and tracks him down in Mexico, where you have one final gunfight. When you win, the credits roll.

Yeah. Think that was my 15th stranger. Looks like I got that and the last story related trophy at the same time.
