Found a good money making spot for endgame.

I'm at the point where i['m grinding for the Final True Millennium tower and EX weapon upgrades are expensive as hell, and tbh i find the management mini game boring.

 

In the Sotenbori arena, when you've fought far enough you can skip straight to floor 26.

The fight here is easy, it gives only gives 200,000 yen as a reward for the fight itself, but if you achieve the optional objective (no revives) you get an electric Whip, this sells to pawn shops for 1,000,000. Further to this, if you use the Megumi Pound-Mate Summon while the pornogra-Pharo is still alive you'll get roughly an additional 900,000, the only drawback to that is she has a 3 fight cooldown.

When the fights done, turn around, leave the arena and repeat.

 

This brings in on average a little over 1.4 million yen for a single fight.

Equip the Rich Crown head gear on every party member (craft in Romance workshop) and just speedrun Final Millenium Tower. You'll be getting ~40mil per run (+ all the items you can pick up), which you can do in like ~15 minutes.

Final Milenium Tower is 19 hard fights though, so you only average at 2m per battle. OP has a strategy with an easy fast fight that gives 1.4m per battle. Seems to be the bette roption IMO

You can one-cycle almost every encounter when you know what you are doing. Easy and much faster, considering you don't have to go through loading screens and dialogue options after each fight.

Agree with this. 

 

However, If Sotenbori battle arena is what you want to do, you're better off saving Megumi for round 30. She'll net you 4.2m and you can use the 26th, 27th and 28th battle of your next run for her to recharge. 

 

That said, a run through final millenium tower doesn't take that long (particularly if you have Eri and the Essence of Telephone Nunchuku and Ichi's Orbital Laser) and as well as netting roughly 40mil you get significant amounts of job and level experience which can be boosted with the various job xp items as well as picking up plenty of materials for modding or selling.

I ended up grinding money in TFMT itself, exiting after Saejima or Majima. You also gain some confidence for beating the tower.
But I didn't get the feeling having really high lvl. weapons was actually necessary, as long as you have enough health to survive more than one hit per character, you can beat it.
