Can't find all Mudokons in levels?

I noticed the first couple levels you don't even have any Mudokons to control, yet some levels say 0/2 found. I noticed there are a few locked doors that I have no idea how to get into, so I can only assume you have to come back via level select when you have an ability. Also, on level 4 or 5, I scoured the entire map and found all secrets, but still was missing 6 Mudokons.

If it’s anything like the New ‘n’ Tasty some of them will be hidden in really obscure areas. Hidden rooms, pitch black shadows, you name it they’ll be there

U dont have to get all Mudokons I dont think, liberating them will just mean the good ending

 

 

I cant speak past level 3, but for level 3 the door about a 3rd of the way through, I think its on a time lock, like after 6 minutes or so, cant speak on the rest, but thats level 3

 

Level 1, you get 100% automatically, level 2, Im not sure on the last 2 Muds, I think its those 2 guys that keep chatting to ya and are sorta automatic

 

Same with the sligs, a level may say 85, but 20 of them may bit background sligs shooting at you and so u cant actually kill them

 

Dont thinl there are endgame abilities
