RNGesus provides excellent starting seed

So RNGesus and I have our issues to say the least, however it seems he has offered me an olive branch in Stranded Deep and I figured I'd share it.  Anyone having issues starting out will benefit from this for sure.  I wanted to knock out the no eating meat/fish and 10 days on one island trophies before actually starting a real play through.  My first four or so attempts were anywhere from 6-8 days before starving.  My final run that netted those trophies wasn't much better and I probably wouldn't have made it much past the 10th day.  I started to consider the creating your own islands route for the actual play through but figured I'd give the game one more shot since I wouldn't be relying on plants alone this time, and man did it pay off!  The game spit me out to a goldmine of an island with more krap than you'll know what to do with at first.  So here it is and what it offers:

This is awesome, so I can use that Seed # and itll get the same things like you? I havent played this yet! but is it like Minecraft world seeds? that I am familiar with.

Yup thats the idea, though some amounts will vary, mostly the containers.  I saw a video of world seeds to check out and they all seemed kinda meh next to this one.  A bunch of people say to use 666 too lol but I haven't checked that out yet.

@DerelictSoul.... you were right, this seed is the shit, after several failed starting attempts I am on track to finish this up thanks to you. Currently I am looking for the three survivor remains... I have been to 16 islands thus far and only have found one... did you get all three on this seed ?

Yes I did, and it took me until almost the end of mapping all islands to get the last two as well.  I don't know if they are the same position every time in seeds but mine were at:

(looking at map with west to north at the top and top left corner being 1-1)  1-4, 1-5, and 4-5

Guys forget seeds and use the cartographer table  in main menu, u can spawn anything u need,

There are a couple vids on how to use on you table if you're unsure

It makes the plat much easier

@DerelictSoulThanks...I don't remember exactly where I found the the first but I did find a second last night at your 1-4... my island count is now at 21 so I only have a few left to check...

this works if you decide to change out ONLY your starting island...if you change any of the others you risk removing one of the three survivor islands and locking you out of that trophy.

I understand, but hear me out, load up game, travel to one other island preferably the closest one (check for survivor) if none then use this island in cartographer table

Spawn everything u need for gyro-copter (get some extra fuel your inventory will hold enough)

Use gyro to fly to other islands for survivors

Thanks for the idea, but I am almost done at this point... I'm trying to do everything in a single playthru... and sadly using the gyrocopter locks you out of Magnets, how do they work? as the gyrocopter has a compass

So I have been all over this seed… twice now. Only 2 survivor remnants for me.. It would seem that the seeds aren’t always the same ? Very sad that the developers can’t even generate a seed that allows you to fulfill all trophy conditions.. a second playthru is now inevitable

They're supposed to be there if you didn't mess with the island editor......one of mine was hardly recognizable as a survivor cash until I was right on top of it, it wasn't obvious like the other two

turned out not to be that big a deal... new playthru, built a raft right away and traversed islands and lived on the starting ration and coconuts... only took a couple hours to get the 3... 2 of which were right next to the starting island
