Quite a few shining reviews for this one.  Looks like a game that makes hours played feel like minutes (and with fishing, and cooking, and other fun activities).

The game sold poorly, as detailed on their blog before the post about the PS4 release ( https://phoenotopia.tumblr.com/ ). It looks quite good though, so I'm glad they managed to release on PlayStation.

Ugh the speed run trophy is a massive deal breaker for me

 

I absolutely hate games with speed run trophies 

 

I'd rather have an entire list of missables than a list with a speed run trophy

 

Considering this is touted as a very long game and one reviewer said there are lots of difficulty spikes plus it's a MetroidVania style beating it in under four hours seems impossible unless you can exploit it

I feel you, can't stand trophies like this, especially in games that would feel better when played slower.

With that being said, the game still looks pretty good. A nice fun adventure title, and i'm all for a little difficulty here and there.

 

Defo one i'll be picking up later on down the line and i hope it sells well on the PS4
