Grand Company Rank 'Oh Captain, My Captain' trophy

How do you get the trophy 'Oh Captain, My Captain'?
As far as I know the last rank you can get is 2nd Lieutenant, yet somehow people have the trophy. ?

You will need to go through the 'Adventurer Squadron' content to get the next ranks for the trophy - this can be accessed though the GC. 

 

There are a number of steps to go through to get the extra two ranks needed.

Oh, so you actually can get a higher rank. I read several forum and wiki threads that didn't mention that. Thanks!

There are 2 criteria to get the rank ups, both need to complete flagged missions and to access the second flagged mission you need to do at least 5 command missions. It takes some time as you have to wait while your squadron complete the mission.

As someone with the trophy, I can confirm that you have to do the flagged missions with your squadron in order to be able to be promoted to the rank needed for the trophy.

I have the trophy too and you need to do the following to get those last ranks:

• Get your Squadron to Rank 2 and unlock Command Missions by doing the Level 40 Flagged Mission, which means you need to get your squadron to Level 40 through normal missions.
• Do five unique Command Missions(you cannot do the same mission multiple times) and then do the Flagged Level 50 mission. This will get you the second promotion and the rank of Captain once the mission is successfully completed. As long as you train the troops so their aspects are equally balanced, this mission will usually succeed.

I already have the rank of captain, however, I obtained it while playing on PC, is there a way to get this to trigger on ps5?

I think you have to do a provisioning or expert delivery for them to get the trophy to pop if you transferred from PC. I have no idea. I never played this on PC.
