Reckon if you used Turbo Controller for it by celetaping X down it would work? 

 

Like does it reset if x is pressed in between bolts?

I don't think it would work.  From what I remember dodging lightning required a bit of timing and I think there was a text window in the game about not continuously tapping X in the original game.  But I'm not sure its been awhile since I plsayed the game.

Yup, there's a message that pops up telling you that button mashing won't work. You have to time it right. But there's a pretty easy trick by which you can make the lightning strike in the exact same spot every time. It's really not that hard, the annoying thing about this is the sheer amount of strikes you have to go through.

It is still at 200 right right plus there is a spot that makes it a bit easier to get

The 200 dodges is the kicker, that's why I'm getting the game for vita. I can dodge a few on the bus, between classes, on the toilet, pretty much anywhere. Makes it a hell of a lot easier than trying to hash out 200 in a sitting.

not true. In the case of the vita I can press the PS button or the power button to send it into sleep mode. This suspends the game play so the next time I grab my vita my progress is as if I never left.

True but could you honestly think about getting say 190 waiting about 4 hr's to do it and forgetting and bam doing it again? 200 in one sitting is not that bad. I still remember doing it umpteen years ago.

if I only had 10 left I think I'd power through and get it done. But when I played back in the day I had failed after 100+ a couple of times trying to do it in one sitting, so this isn't any different.

Avoid cheating your controller do it normally to pay tribute to everyone that had to manually do it way back in the day when it was originally released

You guys do know there is a Crater is South section of Thunder Plains where there is a Crater next to a tower that forces a bolt to come down. All you have to do is go back and forth in hole and dodge its super easy.

I'd recommend taking a few breaks for every 25-50 bolts and using the method Hikaru_Masaru has mentioned. All you have to do is to get your timing right, then the trophy will be yours in no time^^
