As an update to my own post, I figured it out. I had not gone to the Bastille yet since the NPC in the mine was saying I could never come back, thought it was the point of no return as I had been playing blind until last night. So I went in and had the quest track properly and am continuing it despite the fact I've already progressed through Necker's quest. So if you were like me and had done the Necker quest before Maribeau's it's still worth seeing if you can continue with Maribeau anyway, cause it might not bug out.

One of the titan bosses dropped one (the fourth?), but you were automatically transported to Luxembourg, if you didn't pick the "Leave" dialogue in the immediately starting cutscene. Try to go back and loot the body, this one is highly missable.

yes yesterday I saw is the titan of necker, but I understood that the wheel is not between 7 to be leveled, according to what you tell me I should be able to do it if there are 7 before versailles and 1 after. I'm at 45 trophies I should get to 48 with this and 2 that I'm recovering .. let's hope

Doesn't work. I can't interact with the fire at all. The quest completely bugged out. As soon as you get an ERROR LOC in your journal you can just start a new game. It's game breaking

You can buy the orachilum for 7500 at the Boutique ?

I had this exact same problem but after I killed one of the titan bosses I was able to talk to Mirabeau about the crumpled letter while he was at the convent. I can not remember which boss it was now but I think it might have been the one the posters above me are talking about where you're automatically teleported back to the convent if you choose to escort the NPC back.

 

Thanks for this, I can confirm the boss is the Treasurer one at Les Invalides.

Complete STEP 1-8 BEFORE you go to the Batille - Then you are homesafe! And you can still get the "A Family Affair" quest to complete in same playthrough. Most of the steps have to be done before you go to Bastille. If the queen send a letter to you (after the Bastille boss), before you send a Letter to her about your findings about the prussic acid + get the King's Notes from Mirabeau - then you have to start a new game.

 

I am confused on how it is possible to get this trophy and Family Affair in the same playthrough. By Family Affair, you mean the Automat at your Service trophy right?

 

Step 6 for The Bodyguard requires starting the Necker quest but doesn't that mean you can't get the Automat at your Service trophy?

No - because you do it before bastille ? When you get the letter from Mirabeau after the safe - then you can talk to him abiut his own quest

What do you mean by do it before bastille? Can you do a step by step guide on how to get both during the same playthrough because i'm no closer to understanding it lol.

I have some info regarding the Blacksmith trophy. 

 

There are enough materials to upgrade 8 weapons to max even though you need only 7. I used the ones mentioned in PowerPyx's guide and it worked for me (Falchion and Sabre, Lady McBeth Fans, Fire Chain, Leda Halberd, Thousand-Cut Claws, Volley Mallet and Charleville 1789 Shield Musket). You can get 7 orichalcum before Versailles and the 8th one is dropped there by the Unstable Automat. Also, if you're thorough enough in your exploration, you can find enough Bismuth Blocks for 8 max level weapons.

Yes i know,but I don't understand why it's not enough for me to level up all kinds of weapons?

You just need to get the letter to the King before you go to Bastille and defeat the boss. After that boss the queen send a letter to you that spawns the Orpheus boss. At this point its to late to get the letter from Mirabeau.

That's it.

Then you can still do everything else - also A Family Affair

What do you need to do for the Royalist ending? Powerpyx said complete all side mission. I did that but no trophy

That's also misleading.

You need to at least complete the Lanters of the dead (succesfully) and Powder Trail where you choose "do nothing" - I made a video about the ending. I also completed Glory and Dishonor where I obey La Fayette. Just to be sure that I got the trophy ?

Just to throw a wrench into the whole thing I got the Royalist ending last night and I flooded the gunpowder at the bastille. You can see on my trophy list I have Royalist but don't have Traces of powder. I did choose to protect La Fayette in Glory and Dishonor though (I got Apprentice journalist by save scumming) so my guess is there is more nuance when it comes to the requirements for each ending.

 

Don't really feel like testing it though. I really enjoyed the game but I am not gonna bother to play it more until they fix Fashion victim so the plat is actually possible.

So 4 sidequest atleast. I did indeed not obey la fayette. Maybe that is the problem. And I did not get the bodyguard because the gun wasn't there. Maybe that could be a reason why they choose for Mirabeau instead of la fayette

Also, give him the bonds from the Necker quest. He says something like "I'll put it to good use for the army of our country"

So basicly do:

Necker, give bonds to Fayette

For the Kingdom

Lantern of the Dead, with cannonball

Glory and Dishonour, obey Fayette and don't reveal anything to Marat

Powder Trail, do nothing.

 

That's pretty much a 100% way to get it

How did you get it? Similar situation with me, nothing to interact with in the fire. Did you do something to get it to show or did you just start another playthrough?

Just started another playthrough and ignored everything besides the bare minimum for bodyguard. The game legit just glitches sometimes. The quest bugged two times, hell even the whole quest journal glitched out for me, on the third run I didn't even need to interact with the fire cause he gave me the letter instantly after getting the pistol. It's a buggy game.  The guide from Ben-Gun for bodyguard worked like a charm. It's the bare minimum and fastest way. Just pray that it doesn't bug out.

Didn't say you're wrong, it's just another quest that mentions La Fayettes desire to run the army. It might not be necessary but the game is in such a buggy state you never can be sure enough.

I added a video of what to do in what order - so you get all missable trophies in 1 playthrough. Includes when you should do your back up save. 

Hope it clears some questions

I have serious problem with my progress. I am right before Checkmate main mission, and Lavoisier isnt at the Cordeliers Convent. Thus the side mission Gunpowder Trail cant even start. Did I sent him away somehow? If not, where can I find him? Its very strange because his name doesnt even appear at the "Codex" page! Its like I never met him!
