Steelrising is a new soulslike game in a new setting. It has it own unique weapons and enemies, an actual story and cutscenes. I will be playing through the game getting all trophies, weapons, civillian stories, side quests, echoes, upgrades and of course - defeating all bosses.

This is a collection of the missable side quest trophies.

The Bodyguard - Discover the truth about the Queen´s son and save her from certain death [Bronze]

Complete STEP 1-8 BEFORE you go to the Batille - Then you are homesafe! And you can still get the "A Family Affair" quest to complete in same playthrough. Most of the steps have to be done before you go to Bastille. If the queen send a letter to you (after the Bastille boss), before you send a Letter to her about your findings about the prussic acid + get the King's Notes from Mirabeau - then you have to start a new game.

 

Automat at your service - Help Mirabeau solve his family problems [Bronze]

This is a little walkthrough of the side quest "A Family Affair." I missed this trophy a couple of times. The issue with progressing the quest is that Mirabeau can leave the Cordeliers Club. He leaves if you start "Necker´s Two Treasure" Side Quest. He will go and open the safe in Tuilleries and thus voiding the trophy. Another little note is that you need to proceed a couple of steps in the "Nicolas Flamel´s Final Journey" to proceed with Mirabeau´s. When you have your trophy, feel free to start Necker´s mission.

 

Apprentice Journalist - Conduct a journalistic investigation for Marat, without wrongly accusing La Fayette [Bronze]

This a walkthrough of the mission Glory and Dishonor. If you make the correct choices, then you will get the trophy in the end. Be sure to chose "Refuse" when speaking to La Fayette. The chose "Reveal the conspiracy" and "give him the manifesto" when talking to Murat. 

 

Love Before Money - Save Necker by finding his wife before his money [Bronze]

Pretty simple trophy, go to Les Invalides before Tuilleries. Find Neckers wife, THEN the safe. You unlock the trophy when you turn in the mission.

 

Lanters of the Dead - Help Robespierre devise a plan to stop the automats by forging an alliance with Laclos [Bronze]

The only thing that makes this side quest trophy missable, is that you can miss picking up the cannonball. If you return to the Cordeliers Club before picking it up, then you wont get the trophy.

 

Traces of Powder - Find Lavoisier's powder and give a significant edge to the Cordeliers Club [Bronze]

Pick "do nothing" at the end of the quest.

I did all the side quest but only one is bugged "traces of powder" i speack with robespierre first and the game count it as complete,but when i speack with lavoiser the the quest is not count as trophy.

 

One citizen is bugged ,the one in la cite ,the woman before the bridge, I return to tell her about the son, she makes me start the conversation but then she comes off and doesn't give it to me complete.

 

I can't get the last weapon to the max because I need the orichalcum given to me by the last boss, but when I defeat him, the game ends and I can't use it

I've been reading powerpyx guide and I'm generally confused, so if someone could help me understand this mess I'd be grateful! I really need this dumbing down for me! ? Step one on his guide says not to start any Non mandatory side quests and make a save when you get the Checkmate quest, then go onto complete the game, reload a back up save from the cloud then clean up all Side missions and anything else remaining. (Upgrades, costumes, etc.)

 

Couple of questions,

• Is there any way to clearly identify Non mandatory to mandatory side quests? (I've searched google and there's no clear list - probably because the game only released a week or so ago)
• Do citizen stories count as side quests? (and if so are they classed as non mandatory?)
• Seen as though the game is a buggy mess right now for most, if I follow powerpyx's guide, will people like Mirabeau still be in the location they're supposed to be in when I reload a back up save or will they disappear like so many have reported?
• This question is for the OP - Are the videos you've posted above in order as you would see them in game? (Also awesome work on the vid's!)

The mandatory side quest are the quest given by the npc you save from every titan,the citizen are not count as side quest

Mirabeu dissapear whe  you mentioning la cas de fer ,you can reach him in house

Thank you for the reply, It's good to know I can get Citizens along the way and what are Mandatory side quests and what isn't!

 

Sorry it's unclear what you mean by Mirabeau disappear when you mention La Cas De Fer, though? Does this mean I should be able to back up a save (As per Powerpyx) and still be able to get all side quests complete?

Does anyone know the specific things you have to do for the Bodyguard trophy? No matter what I do, I can't the Dueling Pistols to spawn near the safe thus making it impossible to get the letter from Mirabeau.. Powerpyx has some info but it's not very clear as to what exactly do you have to do and in what order.

I personally did a run in which I completed all the side quests and only one bugged and now I'm halfway through the run without oiler and I will recover quest and citizen, I don't know if doing what you want to do you risk skipping the quests, I thought that you had already done something of the mirabeau quest

The side quests are tipically all the quests given by the cordelier's members, the quest of the queen and Marat's quest too, here's the list of 10: 

1. Sleepless (Julien Raimond’s questline)
2. Origins (Bailly’s questline)
3. Monsieur Necker’s two treasures (Necker’s questline)
4. Nicolas Flamel’s final journey (Abbé Grégoire’s questline)
5. The lanterns of the dead (Robespierre’s questline)
6. For the future of the kingdom (La Fayette’s questline)
7. A family affair (Mirabeau’s questline)
8. Gunpowder trail (Lavoisier’s questline)
9. In Memory of the Dauphin (Marie Antoinette’s questline)
10. Glory and Dishonor (Marat’s questline)

When you start the quest of Monsieur Necker, Mirabeau leave the cordelier club and return in his house (after he destroyed the safe tied to the quest of Necker).

To unlock the first ending tied to Robespierre (Incorruptible), just follow the main quests and never talk to the NPCs in the cordeliers club, just to be safe.
When you finished the game once and unlocked "Incorruptible", load your save and do all the side quests, starting by Mirabeau's one to avoid any trouble with Marie-Antoinette and Necker's quests

Did I miss the opportunity to talk to Mirabeau with the crumbled paper if he is not at his home in Tuiliere? 

 

I went to Luxembourg and then traveled back and he is not there anymore.

 

Another question, can you accept all sidequests but just not complete them before one of the endings?

You have to talk to him at Cordelier's Club at Luxembourg.
When you talk to him the first time in his house, he moves to the club, and after you started Necker's quest, he move's back to his house.

And for starting side quests, I cannot be 100% sure but yes, you can start the quests if you don't complete them or complete any of their objectives (just to be safe).

Same!!! The gun doesnt spawn. Have started a new game for it.. nothing.

The only option left is to play up until les invalides boss.

Complete the objectives and then try to spawn the gun at the safe, before the queen asks for your aid in saint cloud

When did you find the gun?? Where were you in the main story?

first of all i followed lafayette's quests, then i saved necker, in the meantime the letter where I informed the queen was already gone. When necker told me that mirabeau had the key to the safe I asked him but he left the convent. After that, I looked for Necker's wife, discovered Lafayette's conspiracy, found the gun in the safe, and interrogated Mirabeau.

i decided to give the money to robespierre and not lafayette to whom i told i knew about the conspiracy, and i didn't give him the manifesto. I gave it to meret, so I didn't trust lafayette.

 

after which I had received the queen's request for help I went I defeated the orphan. In versailles I only met lafayette and madame de polignac I collected the 4 echoes and the trophy came along with that of saving the 7 prisoners

I also have the same problem with Marty84. I picked up the crumpled letter but didn't talk to Mirabeau at his house about it. When I reach the convent, Mirabeau is there (he is not at the house anymore) but I can't talk to him about the letter thus I couldn't start A Family Affair. When you meet Mirabeau the first time, make sure you talk to him about the crumpled letter.

You must complete one to start family affair where you find the mother of mirabeau

For me come natural on first run ?now everything is solved for those who have not taken the trophy, you have tested something for the weapons to the max I only need one orichalcum but the final boss gives it to me and I can not use it you know by chance that if I level up the weapon I am missing does he count it in another run?

Damn.. every guide said to wait with all quest to the endgame... lock you out of the trophy ??

 

Yeah. Its a problem they didnt think of I guess. There's no ng+ as far as I know?

I did the complete run for the first time and now I'm doing the one without oiler, there is no ng + but many have the trophy and I don't understand how since I took the possible ones, I also tried to close the game when he gives it to me but I restarts from before the boss fight and is not in my inventory?‍♂️

After fighting the treasurer of Les Invalides you have the option to escort that person to the convent or not. I think you should not escort him because you won’t be able to pick up the orichalcum. (If it indeeds dissappears)

 

Maybe you escorted him and forgot the orichalcum?

You can get the Blacksmith trophy before going to Versailles. There are at least 7 Orichalcum without Versailles. Another one drops from the last unstable automat in Versailles before the end boss.

 

One of the titan bosses dropped one (the fourth?), but you were automatically transported to Luxembourg, if you didn't pick the "Leave" dialogue in the immediately starting cutscene. Try to go back and loot the body, this one is highly missable.

You can actually still pick up the quest. I had this exact same problem but after I killed one of the titan bosses I was able to talk to Mirabeau about the crumpled letter while he was at the convent. I can not remember which boss it was now but I think it might have been the one the posters above me are talking about where you're automatically teleported back to the convent if you choose to escort the NPC back.

 

I however have the other problem where the quest location does not appear on my map or compass. I know people are saying if you do the Necker quest it can mess with Mirabeau's quest, but, his quest never actually appeared on the map at all for me even before I did Necker's quest. I've been trying to figure out where his mother (the Countess of Covet) is, but, haven't been able to figure it out even looking at the few guides out there as the descriptions aren't all that detailed. If someone could give me a good guide on where she is I'd like to test if I can continue the quest.

I got another bug to report. While doing the necessary steps for bodyguard, up until i could confront Mirabeau after finding the pistol, the game gave me an ERROR LOC message in the quest log. When I try to confront him now, Aegis just says ,,im gonna take a look around" and that's it. It shows the quest on the map with an head icon but the log is glitched out. 2nd playthrough and again a game breaking bug. It's not fun anymore.
